Great culinary and historical experience!

We are four girlfriends from high school who have known each other over 46 years. We did the tour as a unique way to celebrate one of our birthdays. My daughter purchased this tour as a Christmas gift for my husband, so I already had rave reviews about it from them. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, so we thoroughly enjoyed learning all of the historic facts about Greenwich Village. There was a very nice variety and ample quantity of food to taste - we really enjoyed it all. An added treat was the gentleman playing classical music on a baby grand piano in Washington Square; we would have liked more time to listen to more of his playing. You definitely get your money's worth, both in quantity and quality. Everyone had a fabulous day and we will be recommending the Foods of NY tours to our friends and family. Thanks for a great experience.

We enjoyed a most informative tour with Raheem, who is knowledgable, nurturant, and loves food like we do! The tour is well-organized and fun. It is one of my favorite activities to do as a parent with my grown children. A bonus is that it is equally interesting for tourists and native New Yorkers.

Our guide, Susan, was awesome. She has a great way about her, the perfect tour guide. She was friendly and knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the food. It was a great day! And a great date! I am definitely going to do the other tours. It was a great way to learn about a NYC neighborhood and sample delicious food. BTW, I came hungrey and I was full near the end, could not finish the last 2 samples, and I have a big appetite. Awesome!

This was our second tour taken having previously gone on the Original Greenwich Village tour with this company. Our guide Susan was fabulous! She was so genuine and really had a love for the area. The fact that she lived most of her life in this area and was able to give all these little insights into the neighborhood was great. The detailed history of the neighborhood, where Bob Dylan had lived and Billy Joel's Sullivan Street song reference, in addition to the architecture of the community made the tour interesting. The food stops were diverse and very tasty. Caffe Dante, Monte's, Cuba and Once Upon A Tart were my favorites. You definitely get more than enough to eat and I would suggest not having a big breakfast in advance of the tour. Susan did such a great job on our tour, that four days later, we were back exploring more of the neighborhood on our own and ran into her leading another tour.

This is my third food tour. They keep getting better and better. This time I took a group of 7 of my friends. They all said this was the best part of the trip. Raheem was our tour guide and what can we say. He was the best! He combines his knowledge with personal experience to make the tour a great experience. Thank you again. We all want to do another one next year and would love to have Raheem.

My group loved the food tour and we will definitely be doing this again. Our tour guide Rahim, not only took us to some delicious spots but told us stories of and history of the area. He also gave us some good ideas for entertainment. The booklet he gave us of other area restaurants and things to do will be a great resource for us when we come back. Our guide was also very entertaining and enjoyable to listen to. This is a must do in NYC!
