The foCaffe Danteod was ok compared to the other 2 tours from Foods of NY that I have been on Chinatown and Orginal Greenwich. The history and information and the tour guide were great and enjoyed that part of the tour. The food was nothing to speak of. The coffee shop where we didn't have a tasting was much better then the tea shop we did. The other stops except for the first place CCaffe Dante and the last Once upon a Tart, were not great.

Central Village tour

This tour unfortunately disappointed all of our group. The stops were rather underwhelming. The Italian restaurant served peen pasta with neither sauce or meat. Our tour guide asked if anyone had heard of Bolognese ? Really! And we had a basic meat and cheese sandwich at another Italian restaurant and ended at a rather dirty Caribbean place who forgot our drinks! We walked around only two blocks and them did Washimgton Park. Our tour guide tried, but we thought she maybe has been doing this too long. We have done many of these tours: this one was not worth the time put in.

I've been to NYC many times, but decided to branch out with the food tour. Susan was a wonderful tour guide. She seemed very informed, and the food selections were a nice variety. While the tour lasted 3 hours, I considered it a "leisurely" tour. There were a few stops where we had the opportunity to sit down, and we walked at a slow pace. I will definitely book another tour my next visit.

The guide on our tour was excellent. He was very personable and had knowledge of the area. He gave information about the neighborhoods as well as history behind the establishments that we visited. He was an asset to the tour. The food portions were much larger than anticipated. I would recommend this tour.

Our guide Susan was warm, charming, knowledgeable and fun. I felt more like a guest and she was my host. Stops and food samples were well chosen and delicious. We wished that we had done this at the beginning of our visit to New York so we could return to dine. Unfortunately we were at the end of our stay. We enjoyed the other folks in the group. The pace was great and we enjoyed the information Susan shared about the area, buildings, food, etc. Highly recommended!

What a great day! Toured an historic area of New York on foot. Dined at some exciting restaurants in the area and learned how they actually sculpted the area into what it is now. Expanded my palate along the way.

Our tour guide Barri was wonderful and was so knowledgeable! Although we had to "keep to a schedule"...she made it seamless and not pressured. We thoroughly enjoyed our THIRD Foods of NY Tour!!!
