Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

Our guide did a super job! She included background history of the area, interesting facts and foodie information. I had some wonderful tastings. It was nice to sit down in a couple places with the winter weather. I appreciated the brochure of restaurants and shared this with my sister, who is going to New York this week.

I had previously taken the original Greenwich Village tour and last year took the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking tour. Like the others, this was an enjoyable 3 hour foodie romp that mixed in some history of the area. Thoroughly enjoyed by our entire party.

would highly recommend this and we will be back to go again!! Only challenge was the cold and wind... but our guide tried to get us inside as much as possible.

After taking (and enjoying) the Chelsea & Meatpacking District tour in October, we decided to try Central Village and Soho. We had a wonderful time. The food was very good but learning about the history of the area was just as enjoyable. We'll definitely take another tour when the weather gets warmer!

I have already been on this tour before, but a new group came to NYC with me this year and I loved it so much, I went again. It changed a little but was still wonderful. The guide was well informed and kept the group together. But my favorite was the bartender at the Cafe we started from. He made the tour before we even started. If you want to have fun and you want to have fun in New York go on this tour!

This was our second tour. We like to visit different neighborhoods and experience the communities within the city. Our tour guide, Diane, was great. She grew up in the area and knows all the good stories and history of the area. The food tasting was a bit more ethnic that I was ready for...some things I liked, some things I didn't. When I made my reservation I stated that I was a gluten-free eater. Each place we visited accomodated my diet restrictions which was great. Three hours was a bit long maybe because it was very cold. We had a good group of people and had a great time. I highly recommend.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time! Our guide, Barri, was knowledgeable, friendly and fun! The food was marvelous!!!!! We couldnt eat another thing the rest of the day!

The food was wonderful, the guide was awesome, informed and enthusiastic. Places most of us would never go into. Just the right amount of time. Only negative was the fact that we were freezing. In the winter you need more inside restaurants, it was too cold to be outside that long!! Loved it though.

I am a gluten free vegetarian, and I had contacted The tour people about this ahead. I got wonderful food and treatment. I would highly recommend this tour. I will do it again myself. thank you so much.

We had a wonderful experience on the SoHo Food Tour. Our guide, Bary, was exceptional. She had an expansive knowledge of the food and the culture of the village. The food on the tour was delicious. We did not go away hungry or looking for more. An added bonus was the history of the village that Bary shared with us. Now when I listen to a Bob Dylan song I will think of the places in the village where he sang and lived.
