Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

I went on the Central Village & a bit of SoHO tour with 2 friends & we had a fantastic time. Not only was the food delicious, but we were stuffed by the end. Our tour guide, Susan, was the perfect tour guide. She was informative with a sense of humor & was very knowledgable about both the area & the foods we were eating. I actually thought I did not like Indian food but I absolutely loved the food chosen for us at the Indian restaurant & will definitely try it again. I have been telling all my friends what a great time we had & we're already making plans to do another tour in the fall.

The information about the area was very interesting and informative. We have been vacationing in NYC for 4 years and this tour was the highlight of our visit. The guide was excellent and we loved all the food we were able to sample along the tour. We also plan to visit some of the eating establishments next year when we visit the city. We are planning on taking another food walking tour next summer because our experience was fantastic! I would recommend this tour of Central Village and SoHo to everyone.

This is my 6th tour with foods of NY, my second on this particular tour.... and I have never been disappointed. We enjoy taking visitors on these tours, therefore the repeats... but I always learn something new, and there is often at least 2 changes in the food. Looking forward to new tours as well as the tried and true.

Yum! We had a GREAT time! Our tour guide,Susan, was wonderful. Very knowledgable and friendly. Fun to be with and she obviously LOVES her job! PLUS...the food was SENSATIONAL! Enough for lunch, are you kidding me...we didn't even want much for dinner that evening! Sooooo Good! Great food, Great tour, Great time! Thanks Susan, we enjoyed being with you!

A great day in the city. Our guide Susan was fabulous and very enthusiastic. I would definetly recommend this tour in the future.

My sister, niece and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour on Saturday, August 14th! The food was wonderful and our tour guide, Rajeem, was awesome! He was a tremendous asset to the whole tour. Personal, knowlegeable and great sense of humor. I would highly recommended this tour to anyone who loves food and would like an something out of the ordinary. Couldn't ask for a better way to get a taste of New York City!

We are locals that live outside of NYC. This was a great excursion into the history and culture of this area. Susan was an educated, articulate, informative and accomodating guide. The food was delish and plentiful. Look forward to exploring more of the city with this tour company.

This was our 3rd Foods of NY tour and it was awesome! Our guide, Raheem(sp?) was really great - fun, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. We were stuffed at the end of the tour and enjoyed every food item we were served. Thanks, Todd, for another great NYC experience from the Shader family of NC.

The SoHo Tour was way beyond our expectations in a great way! We had a wonderful tour guide, a very knowledgeable young man who was both a real "foodie" as well as a history buff and seemed very passionate about sharing the many good things about this part of NYC, not just food! We really enjoyed strolling through Washington Square Park and learning of its history. More food than we thought...definitely don't eat beforehand. It was a very well planned itinerary of events, ending with a wonderful "sit down" in a Cuban restaurant where we also got to talk with others in the groups as we had our empanada's....and mojito's....I would highly recommend this tour! Well worth it!
