Sample tasty treats from ethnic, old-school eateries in two distinct areas - one colorful and exciting, the other surprisingly quaint.

We loved this tour. We wanted to learn about one of the neighborhoods of NYC and this was exactly what we were looking for. Our guide, Raheem, was so full of facts and history and he had so much enthusiasm for the different foods we tried. He took us to perfect places to sample many different outstanding foods and each was so very unique. The cheesecake we sampled was our favorite. We can't wait to return to New York City to take another tour of a different neighborhood. Would highly recommend this tour group to everyone! |

We were afraid the really hot weather would spoil our enjoyment, but the 3 hours flew by, and we had enought breaks in cool spots to be able to enjoy the walk. Great guide, great information, great food-Can't wait to try another! |

This is the 2nd Foods of NY tour I have been on. They have become the one thing I must do when I visit NY to see my dtr. Even better than seeing a Broadway Play although I always do that as well. It brings the big city down to a manageable size. Love the history and of course the food. Frequently return to places we were introduced to on the tour. My dtr who lives in NYC also found it great and wants to go back to many of the places where we did tastings. The guides are very personable and knowledgeable both about the food and the history of the neighborhoods. Loved it and plan to go on another tour next time I am in town. |

We had a great time on this tour. Our guide was excellent . Our only negative comment is that children should not be allowed to attend. We had a couple that had an 11 month old along, and this was quite disturbing. As we were seated in the Cuba restaurant, this baby had a smelly soiled diaper. My son was seated next to the mother, and the smell was terrible, not what you want during food tastings |

It was the best tour we have taken in New York. The guide makes the tour. He enthusiastically gave us so much history and great recommendations for the best places to eat in New York. I can't wait to take another of their tours! |

Raheem did a great job providing us with history and noteworthy points about the neighborhoods. Of course, the food along the way was wonderful too. Three hours was just right. |

All the middle-aged teachers from New Jersey who attended the tour were quite impressed with the discovery of so many delightful, reasonably-priced, delicious restaurants in the Village. Susan, our guide filled us in on the history - the counter-culture that began and still continues here, the lovely, quiet hidden streets like Minetta, and the center of the area-Washington Park. It is a tour you can take more than once. Thanks to Susan! |

I heard of taking a food walking tour by word of mouth so went on line to find out more. My friend, her daughter and my daughter all enjoyed the food sampled and we enjoyed the historical and architectural information Diana provided along with the information about the shops and food. All in our group wished we had done the tour earlier in our trip so we could have made plans to come back to The Village to shop and eat some more! We will definitely recommend it to any friends planning a trip to NYC! |
