This was my 5th time to NYC and my 5th time to go on one of the NYC Tasting Tours! This is something my Mom and I so enjoy looking forward to and doing every year when we are in NYC. You don't only get to go to several spots and taste food, but you also get a great history lesson of the area you are in. Lots of fun!

Misnomer on the tour

We truly enjoyed the tour although were disappointed there was only one stop in Soho. The food was delicious but the mojito was a little overpriced. Weather was great. There are so many restaurants to enjoy and we did go back to Masala Times. Raheem was knowledgable and we truly enjoyed him. All in all a good experience.

Tour guide was wonderful. Tasting on the sidewalk sometimes a balancing act. So much fun and so much to see. Found some favorites, like Masala. YUM! We're from Suffok county and are looking forward to coming back to the area to explore some more on our own.

Raheem was a riot! He has so much energy and knows the history of the neighborhood very well. He was interesting and fun and the food was delicious. The restaurant owners and workers were so nice too. We got to meet the whole family, three generations at Monte's Trattoria. I liked that Raheem was aware and respectful of the "people on the street" we encountered and encouraged our group to do the same. The variety of food helped to keep the tour interesting. I'm hungry thinking about it. Looking forward to our next trip when we hope to join the Nolito tour! THANKS to Raheem ... Great fun.

Tourists become Villagers!

Our guide Rahim is a complete New Yorker who knows and loves the history of Greenwich Village and its characters and brings them all vividly to life with hilarious anecdotes. We were going to be in the Village for 10 days and by the end of the tour we knew our way around, knew many good places to eat (had sampled the delicious food at several places), and got to know the owners and workers of local family businesses (cheese-makers, coffee specialists etc). We were no longer tourists but honorary Villagers having a lot of fun. We loved every fascinating minute! Love and thanks to Rahim!
