We had a great time. I was with my 23 year old son and two of his friends. They all live in NYC and loved the tour. They want to do a different area the next time I am in town.

This is the second food tour I've done and really enjoyed getting a sense of the neighbourhood from an educated local perspective. Susan was a great guide and the food was all excellent. My only suggestion - to provide a map at the start of the tour - two people got lost and had trouble finding us. Susan gave interesting anecdotes and history about the locations, it was great.

We had a blast, learned a lot about the area both historically and gastronomically. Our guide was funny and knowledgeable, keeping the pace brisk but not exhausting. The food was amazing at all locations. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the City.

My 2 granddaughters enjoyed our food tour , however personally I enjoyed the original Greenwich Village and theChelsea market tour more. This tour was more ethnic choices and only one sweet tart. I did take the two girls to the Chelsea market for an afternoon.

One of the best activities to do when visiting NYC

This was my second Foods of NY Tour. The first one, taken in 2011, was the original Greenwich Village tour and it was spectacular! Because of that very positive experience, this activity was the first thing I scheduled and then I worked everything else in around the tour. I liked the original tour a bit better personally just because the food variety was a little more interesting. But both guides were extremely informative and I learned a lot about the history of the area in addition to tasting fantastic food. In both cases, we tried restaurants that I want to go back to on future NYC visits. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dianna was our enthusiastic tour guide full of insightful information, a couple of 'star' spottings and a pleasure! We had just enough to eat, a great historical overview which kept our interest and the time flew. We're planning on a Chinatown tour in the fall.

Thoroughly enjoyed this food tour. The guide was quite knowledgeable, pleasant and good at the role. We were a group of 7 women 40's to 70's...all of us had a blast. We are going to look into another tour. This is a great way to learn about the city while enjoying lovely foods.

The tour guide was good and very informative. We learned a lot about the history of the area (soho/greenwich). The food was excellent and I sampled types I had not had before. Only one comment - we were told we didn't have time to shop and we figured that meant in stores we passed on our tour. However, we visited a coffee shop, did not receive a sample (why not?) and in that store while people were looking around, I bought some coffee beans - then was reminded we weren't supposed to shop. Not good public relations. If I were sampling in a restaurant and then decided to buy something to take home while everyone else was still eating, it makes no sense to have to go back to the restaurant (or store) in order to purchase something when I am right there (granted - if it was going to take 20 minutes to prepare I could understand that). Suggestion - don't take people to the coffee vendor if we're not going to receive a sample or be allowed to buy anything.

We participated in the food tour last Thursday and despite the rainy weather we had a great time. Our guide Susan was very knowledgable and informative. The food was also great and it was interesting to try foods we hadn't had before. This was our 3rd tour, and I recommend them to everyone I know who is visiting the city. It's a fun way to interact and learn more about the specific areas covered as well as sampling awesome food along the way. Because my daughter and her husband enjoyed the NYC tours so much, they went on one in Rome Italy last week and loved it as well. Thanks again and keep coming up with new tours. Julie
