this was one of the hilights of our visit to NYC, it was fun , informative and included history and culture of the area and a good variety of types of food that reflected that . The guide was attentive, funny and interesting to listen to. Will definitely include another of these tours on the itinerary of our next visit!!

This is our third time touring with this company and we have never been disappointed yet. On this particular tour the guide Dianna was very informative about the architechture and the history of the neighborhood. The good thing about these food tours is that it makes a small piece of NY personal. It makes you want to come back another day on your own to try out all the other establishments, and revisit the venues on the tour.

Well, the fun began before the tour even began when the owner of the Cafe came out and informed us it was easier/warmer to sit inside his place then stand outside on the sidewalk.! From then on, it was walking, eating, talking, eating, learning, eating, laughing, eating! And then we ate some more. Certain things I NEVER thought I would like I LOVED, certain foods I had heard about or seen but never had the opportunity to try rocked my world! We even had a lady in line at the pasta store complain we were cutting in line, (we weren't) , and then STOP and listen to everything our guide said, HOLDING UP THE LINE! You should have charged her admisson. GREAT way to spend the day. Now i am off to the gym.............

Susan was very informative and took the time to explain the rationale for the selection of the locations.

Excellent tour guide , lots of history and passion for new York , not so enthusiastically received by business proprietors . Learnt a lot about New York , little about food . Must be a very difficult one to please all . Most of the food stuff you get from the food channel or shows . Over all worthwhile .

This was our second tour with NY Food Tours and this time we took the family from 11 year old nephew to 82 year old mother. Everyone had a good time and thought that it was a good value. Our tour guide, Susan(we had her last time too), obviously loves the Village and her job and it shows.

Raheem (I have no idea if that's his name, but it started with an "r" :-) ) was a super guide, the restaurants served wonderful food, other stops where interesting picks, and the history of the area was presented most respectfully and understandably. The leisurely pace was perfect, the walking was acceptable for my 83-year-old mom, and bathrooms were sufficient in number. The flexibility for vegetarian diet was appreciated. The guide was extremely attentive to us as well as those going about their normal business. He kept us safe crossing streets and kept us out of the way of regular customers and pedestrians. I would do this again in a heart beat!!! And I'd go anywhere this particular guide goes -- he was fun, knowledgeable, easy to understand, respectful of the neighborhood and neighbors. We all thought this tour was a highlight of our NYC visit!

I would highly recommend this tour and our guide, Rahim. My 16 year old daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious and different; and we learned alot about the history of the area and where to find great artisan foods. Rahim was pleasant, accommodating and full of information. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and great value for the money. I would not hesitate to take another tour that this company offers.
