This is the second food tour I've been on with Food Tours of NY. This one was even better than the first one. Our guide, Rasheem(sp?), was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhoods we walked through, and of the food that was served on the tour. In spite of the cold, slightly windy day, my family had a great time and we left so full. The food was great, from the Indian kati roll to the walnut chocolate tart. I would recommend this tour to anyone and haven't stopped talking about since we took it. I'm already looking for the next food tour to take the next time I'm in NYC. |

We knew from the first bite of food at the Aamchi Pao that we were going to have a good time for a few hours. Our guide was upbeat and took the damper off the cold overcast day at noon on Friday Oct 16th. She was very informative about the history of the area and ssome of the buildings and sites. The food was delicious and a treat at each stop. We were not even hungry for supper before going to the theatre that evening. This is a fun thing to do in NYC. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with an enthusiastic guide (Diana) who was full of information about restaurants, clubs, architecture and some history. The weather was rainy and cool, but it didn't matter as our visits to restaurants were great. We ended up re-visiting two restaurants and two clubs because of the tour. |

Thought the tour was very interesting and the food sampled quite good. However, we felt very rushed starting about 2/3 of the way through the tour. Perhaps less time could have been spent during the orientation so as to not rush us later. In addition, we thought it was a waste of time to spend so much time inside La Lanterna when we were not sampling food there. At Cuba, the food was excellent, but we were encouraged to order mojitos and then had only a few minutes to drink them. Enjoyed the tour very much, but feel it could use a few modifications. |

I had purchased tickets as a surprise for our family...my husband, our 13 year old daughter(who eats everything) and myself, as a surprise!!!. Our host was Diana who grew up and has lived much of her life in the Soho, Greenwich Village area. She was absolutely fabulous with historic and cultural information as well as took us to some of the most amazing food stops. We visited restaurants, bakeries, butchers, eateries and more. We sampled alot of food. After the tour we visited 4 of the stops later for meals or treats. We would have gone to more, but had to come home!!!!! We will do one of the other tours on our next trip to NYC.
I would absolutely recommend these tours to everyone!!

This tour was much better than I expected--better food, more information about the area and the history, and just a lovely way to learn little-known facts about this section of NYC. I took my mother as a birthday gift, and she and I really enjoyed it. We happened to have a perfect fall day and the streets were crowded, which only added to the energy of NY. |

Susan was our tour guide. She was wonderful. We did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy all the wonderful food. It would have been fun to shop at some of the stops, but with a group of women, the tour would have lasted 6 hours rather than 3 hours. There were 10 of us from Wisconsin in this group and we all enjoyed the tour. |
