This was our second tour -- we enjoyed the first one so much that we went back again and took more family members. The food was delicious and the guide was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhood and the history of the various restaurants and other food and entertainment establishments we saw. He really brought the neighborhoods to life and he seemed to be having as much fun as we were. We were a multi-generation family: grandparents, parents, and two older children -- 16 and 20. This tour offered something for everyone. Our guide really went out of his way to be sure everyone was having a great experience. He was equally engaging with the grandparents and the kids. When even a teenager is having fun (smiling, laughing, not texting, not rolling her eyes) you know you've picked a winning activity. I'd recommend this food tour for ages 12 through 90!

Tasting and walking tour is a nice pairing. I know Greenwich Village yet still got something out of it. I would highly recommended for young & old.

The Central Village/Soho tour was quite entertaining - filled with interesting bits of information on food, architecture and culture. The guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. We would recommend a balance between the information shared on food and the way of life in the village as the tour focused much more on the food.

The tour of Chelsea was very informative and delicious. Our guide was enthusiastic and knew her material. The tour supplied ample food and treats. I wish the cupcake wasn't the first stop though. It is hard to eat a big sweet treat first thing and then continue on to more real food. I loved the lobster bisque at the Lobster store and the oxtail pasta at the last restaurant. Well worth the time and money.

I really enjoyed the food tour and highly recommend it to those who like to eat a lot! I did not expect to eat until I was nearly sick, but I did. Raheem was a fun, energetic tour guide. It was very interesting to see the old neighborhoods and to eat foods from old established family-owned restaurants. The only draw-back was that it was really hot and we were on our feet for so long.

Having done the West Village tour last year, our group was keen to do another food tour this summer. We happened to choose the hottest day of the year, but it didn't matter a bit. Barri was our guide, and she was very informative, pleasant, interesting and a wonderful guide. The food places we stopped at were out of this world. I don't think there was a single thing that we tried that we did not like! And we would definitely go back to all of those places to try them again. The mango yogurt at Marsala Times was fabulous! The Cutti roll they offered was also tasty and enjoyable. We would all highly recommend this tour - what a worthwhile and fun way to spend an afternoon. We were all so enthusiastic about our experience and would even do it again in the future. We definitely want to try some of the other food tours as well! Fun, fabulous food and filling!

We had 5 people in our part of the group, from 22 to 58. We all thought it was informative and enjoyable. Our guide had a passion for that area of NY and for the food. Good variety of tasty food. I have a big appetite and wasn't stuffed, but I was satisfied with the amount of food and it was stretched out over 3 hours.

Our tour guide, Susan, was very informative and pleasant but might have been able to interject a bit more humor or storytelling into the tour to peak more interest. This is my third tour (have done the original Greenwich Village and Chelsea Market tours) and while I enjoyed this food tour, it was my least favorite. While there was a nice variety, there were too many "carb filled items" that were filling and wouldn't allow full enjoyment of the "tasting" experience, i.e., foccaccia mini-sand, Indian wrap, pasta bolgnese, empanadas. Perhaps a chopped Italian salad or antipasta, satay chicken, a mango/papya salad - anything to break up the heaviness a little. Other than that, the tour was enjoyable as always. And the Cuban dining room was adorable! I'm sure it's difficult to get these tours "inside", but I think part of my fascination has been each restaurant's ambiance (really enjoyed Moromoto's bathroom experience on a Sunday!) and the restaurant in the Village tour that had the personal back kitchen (name escapes me right now). Will definately recommend and continue to go on your tours.
