Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour

My group found the food tour to be extremely well run and we all had a great time. Our guide, Susan, was fully knowledgeable about the area and had many interesting stories and information to share with us. The food was all excellent and well presented. The only thing I would change would be the type of food offered - it was all excellent but very filling and it might be better if some of the tastings were of a 'lighter' fair, with less breads. Otherwise, it was a great afternoon and we are looking forward to doing another food tour on our next trip to NYC.

My 2nd so far. Guide very knowledgable, food tastings superb and most plentiful. Did tour with daughter and friend(both 18 years) and they loved it as well. We will be back for more. Peter

Excellent

This was a third tour and we enjoyed it as thoroughly as the previous two tours. Although it was raining the entire time, the food, stores, and history still made for a fantastic tour. Our guide, Raheem, is high-energy, fun, and knowledgeable and he kept the tour moving and made each stop and taste come to life. We plan to do the other two tours during our next couple of visits to the city. Also, the food tastings provide more than enough lunch for the heartiest of eaters. We are all quite full by the end of the tour.

We went on our tour on 5/18/13 at 12:30pm. We were a party of 4 couples. Our tour guide, Susan, was really amazing. You could just tell how passionate she is about the area and it made all the information she gave us and the places she took us even more memorable! The food choices were amazing and we were full by the end of the tour. It even rained a bit during our tour but we barely noticed! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Our family of 5 (3 small kids) enjoyed the most wonderful food tour through Central Village and SoHo! Our tour guide was exceptional! So knowledgeable, informative and friendly. We honestly has the best time ever. We were so full after the walk and all of the eating, we almost skipped dinner at 8.

Our guide Susan was very informative and moved the group at a good pace. The items we had were very delicious and filling. We had 3 different "sandwiches" (Italian, Indian Wrap, and Panini from Rbbt) which were well prepared; however, more variety would have been nice. I was sorry to see that the Cheese/Dairy was closed for retail business. Enjoyed the tour tremendously and would definitely recommend it to friends. I look forward to taking one of the other food tours.

My two friends and I did the Central Village/SoHo Food and Culture Tour on our first day in New York. We had a fabulous time exploring the streets and trying a great variety of delicious foods. You must have a mojito at Cuba Restaurant and a lovely way to finish the tour was with a rich cake at Once Upon A Tart. We would definitely do another food tour on our next trip.

This tour was a great afternoon activity in NYC. Our guide, Susan, possessed native knowledge and it showed. It was also obvious that the tour was constantly looking for new restaurants to try. Restaurants of all types.

There were five in our group. We loved all the information given on the area from the culture to the history. We thought the food selections were very good with a good variety. We tried things we had never tried previously and want to eat more. We all had different favorites, but all enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend to others.
