My husband and I made a quick weekend trip to NYC and packed the weekend full of fun things to do. Our favorite part of the trip was the Greenwich Village Food Tour!!! Our tour guide, Mason, was awesome, engaging, funny, and taught us a lot about the history and architecture in the area. The food was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this tour and would do it again in a heartbeat!

This was the 3rd Foods of NY tour that I've done. The leader was well versed in knowledge about the West Village and NYC in general. The tour was really fun and there was SO MUCH FOOD! I'd highly recommend this activity.

An Afternoon in the West Village

An all encompassing tour of the West Village sampling pristine food from 6th ave all the way to west of 7th Ave. south. Sampling was accompanied by a thorough history of how each food purveyor got established; and on top of that, a history of the W.V. overall development; from culture to architecture. A simply can't miss tour!

Our tour guide, Safrah, was delightful. She was highly entertaining and full of interesting information. Our whole tour was conducted at a good pace and really interesting. We were introduced to places that we'd love to return to. This tour was one of the key highlights of our trip to Manhattan. We wouldn't have missed it for the world!!

My husband and I did the Original Greenwich tour. We loved it and would definitely try the other neighborhood tours. One couple in our group booked three different tours and three ladies in our group loved the chocolate tour. Each tasting was unique and amazing while our leader, Sephrah, was funny, enthusiastic about food and gave us a bit of neighborhood history. The tour was definitely one of our favorite NYC activities. We loved one of our sit down restaurants so much that we made dinner reservations for a chef's tasting the next night. They don't push this or anything extra on you which was nice. Bummed out I didn't make time for more tours.

Even in the rain- one of our highlights of NYC

We had been recommended this tour by a friend , and we are so glad that it lived up to all the hipe our friend gave it . Despite the pouring rain , this was one our best days out in NYC . Fun from the moment we met our guide (Sephrah) , and so sad when it finally ended and we parted . As well as the food ( excellent - maybe a bit too much ) we went back to some of the shops later in the week , and we are now also telling all our friends - this tour is an absolute must do when in NYC . Thanks to all involved ( especially you Sephrah)

Fun tour!

We have been to New York many times, and have been to or done most of the key touristy things before, incl. Empire State building, Statue of LIberty, top of the Rock, carriage ride etc. We were looking for something fun to do during the day on a weekday and since we always enjoy local food, we decided to do a food tour and the Greenwich Village Food Tour seemed perfect. We love Italian food which is what is seemed to consist of primarily, and we enjoy visiting small mom & pop places we might not otherwise find. Our guide, Sephreh, was funny, informative and helpful when we asked for recommendations of places to go later than evening. The food at each stop was served quickly and was good. The cultural and historic tidbits that Sephreh were shared during the tour were just enough to keep us interested, yet not feel like we were being bogged down with a social studies lesson. Most places we visited were very close to each other, so the walking was not extensive at all. The food was good, and we visited enough places that it all added up to quite a sufficient lunch.
