I took my 3 kids on a tour and couldn't have had a better time. Raheem's knowledge of the area and its history alone was worth the price.

Our leader Sephrah was great, knew every name of the group and everone on the street, knowledgable, funny, organized. great leader. Food was great, shop owners very nice. Learned alot about neighborhood. Plan on signing up for Chinatown tour next. Used coupon 10 minuutes after tour. Found several dishes I plan on stealing for my recipe book.

Great food and cultural tour

The tour was a wonderful way to get introduced to Greenwich village. The weather was perfect. Our host Marie was wonderful and very child friendly. Our 8 year old daughter had a blast and was the biggest eater on the tour I am afraid to admit. Without the tour we would have appreciated the quaintness of the village but with the wonderful food tastings and stories the place became so much more than that. We felt as part as the locals, which was superb. My daughter would rate it 'as the best tour ever' .

Our guide Bert (Burt?) was super enthusiastic without being irritating. HIs knowledge and obvious love of the area, combined with his popularity with the locals made for a fun and informative walk. There is absolutely no pressure to buy at the shops and in fact no time is allowed to do so. Highly recommend this tour. Ask for Bert!

Our guide, Burt, took us to 7 eateries and walked us round Greenwich Village, discussing architecture, film trivia and general culture. I enjoyed all food tastings and found the information from Burt fascinating and really gave me an authentic impression of this cool and quirky neighbourhood. I recommend this wholeheartedly for those who wish to get off the beaten track to discover more of the real New York.

Great NYC tour and wonderful tour guide - Sephra

Great way to tour Greenwich village, learn some history of the area and get a taste of the area cuisine. Good variety of tastings and all very good. In fact, we went back to one of the stops for lunch later in our visit to NYC. The guide was wonderful, funny, knowledgeable and most importantly kept control of the tour. It's a compact area and the distance covered was manageable. There were several stops that included sitting down, making the pace good. The only suggestion I have is the shorten the tour by 30 minutes to 2.5 hours. The last half hour, the group's energy had waned. Regardless, I do recommend this tour.
