Great tour leader with lots of neighbourhood info

I went on this tour in 2003 and enjoyed it and recommended to friends visiting NY who also enjoyed. I may be remembering wrongly but this time round there was more time emphasis on food and less on the walk and neighbourhood for example did not see, Wawa hut or speakeasy I still enjoyed but not quite as much as before

This was by far one of the best things I have ever done. I lived I NYC for 6 years and never knew that these places in Greenwhich village existed. I can't wait to go on the next one.

Kurt, our guide, was enthusiastic and informative. We enjoyed learning about Greenwich Village as well as about many of its restaurants and shops with food offerings. The tastings were wonderful; and the pace of the tour, just right. I have recommended the tour to others and have found a friend who will be checking out the web site for a future tour. We returned to a couple of our tour stops to purchase goodies to take home. Thanks for an enjoyable experience!

This tour truly delivers..delicious food, little-known historical facts, mingling with the locals, and great exercise to top it off! Our guide Cindy was first class, and her energy was contagious. She knows her stuff and goes the extra mile to make sure her guests get the most from their experience. If you enjoy good food, and want a real New York experience, take this tour. You will be glad that you did.

Bert was wondeful and gave great information about the area and really educated us about food, resturants and the history of the area. The food samples were awesome and we had many more samples than I had anticipated. All the people in our group were so nice as were all the workers in all the places that we visited. I would encourage people to take this tour.

This tour was the best I've been on. The leader (Sephra I think her name was) was hysterically funny but very informative. Not only were the choices of places to stop and taste wonderful, she gave a little history of the area and architecture. It was a wonderful tour and my friend and I just loved it. What a great way to start (or end since it was on the 31st) the year. We plan to go on all the other tours. We love these tours! Thank you.
