Michael was our guide and did an outstanding job. He was knowledgable, very personable, delightful and made sure our group thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious as were the stories about the neighborhood. We look forward to going on other food tours with your company and will highly recommend you to our friends and family.

This is my second tour as well as the second time visiting New York!!! I can not say more how wonderful the tour is. The first time I went on the tour was with a group of girlfriends and we loved it so much I had to do it again this time with my boyfriend. Greenwich Village is such an unique gem in Manhatten!!! After the tour we headed to Fish Seafood Restaurant for their "happy hour", which was suggested during our tour. Later we stumbled over to The Back Fence bar for some Brooklyn Lager and live music. On our last day of our trip, Greenwich Village was on the list! We ate lunch at Palma and even after some shopping we ended our day with another slice of Nonna Maria at Bleeker Street Pizza. The only disappointment was Chunley's. Being that my boyfriend is a writer, I knew he would of love to see all that history in Chumley's!! But the history is so amazing overall. I always recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York. With plans to move to New York later this year, I will definitely will take the tour when family and friends come to visit us. Thanks once again for such a memorable time in Greenwich!!

Our tour guide was great! He had great information and stories to tell. He took the time to answer any questions that were presented to him. The group size was perfect and all the shops were very welcoming.

The food was great, and our guide "ED" was fantastic. I loved to hear about the history of the area.

wonderful introduction to the Village

The tour enabled us to feel part of the Village almost immediately. Even though the food seemed incidental-although quite good in itself-our "tour guide" immersed us in the vibe of the Village from the outset and never let up! His enthusiasm was contagious. A special food request was accomodated (vegetarian) which was much appreciated. Highly recommended.

Mike was amazing. It was the best part of our NYC weekend. The food was delicious! We went back on Sunday to eat at some of the restaurants.

It's More Than Just Food

We were concerned before we booked the tour that there would be so much food that we'd get overstuffed and uncomfortable. In the end, we were very impressed by how the tour is laid out, that the food comes in increments so that you don't get too full. The breaks in between tastings were long enough that our stomachs could settle while we got some great information about the neighborhood's architecture, history, and local culture (Greenwich Village). We must also say too, that we couldn't have asked for a better guide than Cindy. She was witty, upbeat and totally New Yorker through and through which added tremendously to the tour. She was incredibly genuine, which is a wonderful contrast to the less personal tours we've taken in NYC (aka bus tours) ... she answered our questions from personal experience, and when it was over, we felt like we'd made a friend in NYC.

Tour was worth the 3 hours even on a short weekend

My relatives were celebrating my aunt's 80th birthday by having 3 generations of women into NY for the weekend. The weather was great, the tour combined a little food, a little history, a little culture, and a little architecture. We had a great guide. I would highly recommend it and actually already have.
