Being a frequent visitor to New York, I didn't think that there was anything new for me to see, but I was delightfully surprised to discover an entire new world. Our tour guide, Cindy, was amazing, the food was wonderful, and I learned so much about little hidden areas that offer so much to the public. I can't wait to try another one of your tours. Thank you so much!!!

A Taste of Greenwich with a side of life

Our guide took us on a "tasteful" tour of the Greenwich area. The tasings were a wonderful variety of the oferings in the area. The information and history received along the way was like icing on the cake. There was no way that we could have experienced half of what we did if we would have opted to try it on our own. The 3 hours went quickly. No better way to get the feel of Greenwich...

We found this tour to be very informative. I had always wanted to go to Greenwich Village, but hadn't had the chance until now. I felt that Bari gave us lots of history as well as current info. I wasn't excited about all of the food choices, but realize that preferences in food tastes are different. I liked this tour alot.

Our tour guide Cindy was awesome. We had a great time on our tour. It was fun and had several interesting items for tasting. I am anxious to go back and try all the restaurants that were recommended. We would recommend doing this tour early in your stay, so that you can try all the interesting restaurants that were recommended. Don't forget your walking shoes.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour despite the heat

Our tour guide, Michael, was exceptional. Witty and with a wealth of knowledge about Greenwich Village, he was a great guide. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the food. Despite the oppressive heat, Michael kept everybody moving and we survived it while learning so much more than we expected. Chumley's Speakeasy was the highlight!!! We'll be back for another tour. Thank you Michael for a great experience. Al & Marsha Lunt Fayetteville, NC

Not happy with tour

We came on this tour expecting it to be a food tour but instead got 2+ hours of the history of the immigrants of Greenwich village and a tutorial of local architecture. While some of it was interesting we spent only about a 1/3 of the tour talking about and tasting different foods. Additionally, most of the food we tasted were pretty common foods and nothing special at all. It would have been better to taste foods that are specialities of the local shops and are not something you would normally eat. (Pizza and gyros are not something I expected to be tasting - I can have that anywhere). Finally, our tour guide was sweating profusly through the entire tour and he kept wiping the sweat off his face with his hands. It was disgusting since he also touched the plates and napkins we were to eat from. I didn't like the tour or the tour guide and felt I wasted my $40.

I really enjoyed the tour. This is such a unique area of New York it was fun not only to see all the shops and try the food, but also to learn about all the history.
