My husband and I had a great time on this food and walking tour. Our tour guide, Susan, was unbelievable. She had a great knowledge and feel for the Greenwich Village area. We learned a great deal about the culture and history of the area. The food was amazing. We were able to try and taste new foods that we normally would not have ordered for ourselves. I will definitely recommend this tour to all of my friends and family that plan to visit NYC. The next time we are in NYC we will definitely book the other food tasting tours. We can't wait! |

We thought the Greenwich Village Tour was well worth taking. It gave a very good historical overview of the place and took you to places that you would otherwise
miss out on. There was so much food to eat along the way. |

The tour and the food were great. Just enough useful information and tasty food to make for a great afternoon in New York.
Can't say enough about our guide who was simply outstanding.
Great day. All of us would highly recommend the tour. We do plan on attending some of the other FoodTours.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and paced the tour to suit the group. The food we sampled was delicious and the size of the servings was a pleasant surprise. We have already recommended this tour to family and friends! We also appreciated that we were able to take the tour a day later than planned due to difficulties flying into New York because of plane cancellations. Thank you! |

We did the 3-hour East Village food tour yesterday. I would have written this sooner but I was busy digesting-both the food and all the information that our WONDERFUL guide, Curt, passed along. Within half an hour, he knew the names and hometowns of all 16 people on the tour, which made us all feel really special. We ate, walked, had a snack, listened, walked a bit, nibbled on some food, wandered around, noshed, visited a couple of restaurants, had something to eat, walked about some more, chowed down, and walked yet some more. We had NINE different food stops. Plus we were allowed into some restaurants, not to eat, but just to meet the staff and hear about the cuisine so when we went back we would know the best places to go. And we WILL go back. ALL of the food was amazing, different, unusual, and the BEST of its category. I am having trouble adjusting back to "regular" food (cheese from the grocery store-fugedaboudit!)
It was worth every nickel, every minute, and every step we took. Curt gave us ideas for how to spend an evening in the Village-a suggestion we will take and run with on our next summer's trip to New York. Curt was a fountain of knowlege, clever, funny, quick, adorable, and very considerate of the needs of both his guests and the residents of the area.
One of the best days I have ever spent in the city. |

Our group of four 50+ women (friends for 35 years) really enjoyed this tour. We had Cindy as our guide. She was fun and informative! The food offered for tastings was more than enough for lunch--great variety of excellent quality. We all felt that we really got an idea of life in the Village. We had perfect weather, which was icing on the cake! |

I attended the food tour in Greenwich Village last year with some friends and loved it. This year I came back with my daughter. I love the area of Greenwich Village and the food is great...we were very full by the end. Later in the week we went back and ate some of the food we loved. My first tour was with Michael...I really enjoyed him..this time we had Cindy...she was ok, she did not seem as genuine.
She also made a fews comments about where people were from it appeared she thought she was better than others because she lived in New York. To many inappropriate comments. The comments were not directed at me, but I could tell the people she said it to did not appreciate it...they were defending where they lived.
Also, made a comment about Italians...which was surprising since we were eating a lot of Italian food. If I attended another food tour I would request not to have her.
I do love the tours and feel you offer a great activity! |
