This food tour was the high light of my stay in New York this time. Not only was it a food tour but the historical info about Greenwich Village was very informative and interesting. I will highly recommend this tour to others. Well done!! on a great tour. On my next visit to New York, I plan to spend more time in the Village. And the information handout will most helpful for future trips. I loved it!! Louise Forsythe |

My wife & I spent a week in NYC and this was definitely one of the highlights. We had a wonderful sunny day, an engaging host with terrific knowledge and great sample food! I would thoroughly recommend doing this tour early in your vacation as you will want to come back to the area to act on the recommendations. We ate in the Village 3 out of the remaining 4 nights we spent in NYC based on the advice and handouts (useful!) given and didn't regret any choices. We did regret going the other night to a big cattle herd "trendy" restaurant in Midtown paying more money for dreadful service and average food. I'm usually very sceptical of paying for this sort of tour but genuinely, I could barely fault it. Don't wait any longer, just book it! |

Took the tour after a recommendation from a friend and will recommend it to others coming to New York. Interesting combination of detail about the area, the people and of course the food - the tasters were great.
We went back to 'Le Gigot' as our final meal before leaving - a great way to finish the holiday - we mentioned that we were there as a direct result of going on your food tour.
Kurt was a really good guide - humerous, informative and very enthusiastic - a credit to your business.
We would recomend that visitors take the tour at the start of their holiday so that they can go back to have snacks and meals at the establishments during their stay.
The printed summary guide and local map was very useful - it helped us remember the various places and the contact details enabled us to phone and book reservations.

I thought the tour was about 45 minutes too long. The tour was very informational and we enjoyed it, but the fatigue was a little distracting. Slowly shuffling your feet and standing around is more tiring than walking at a brisk pace. Our guide, I don't remember her name, was very, very informative and I would take a tour with her again.

Besides the good food, the history of the area was most interesting. We returned to several stores after the tour and made purchases. Very knowledgeable guide. |

Greenwich village is like the best kept secret for fabulous food, and specialty shops. Not only was the food to die for, our tour guide "Mike" was a wealth of information. If I didn't know better I'd say he was hanging out with Bob Dylan himself. Thank you again for a marvelous day! |

The food was great, the history, culture and context were fascinating, but the Tour Guide - Cindy - was New York personified. Colorful, cultured, caring, and funny - full of the chutzpah that typifies New York. A real insider who gave a real insider's view and had just the right touch at each of the food stops to ensure that we got nothing but the best from the best that the village has to offer. Outstanding! Can't wait to try another tour on our next trip to the Big Apple! More than a tour: a tour-de-force!

This was a fun way to get to know Greenwich from an insider. It was full of very interesting facts, past and present. The food was excellent. My friends and I enjoyed every minute! |
