| I had no idea what to expect because the website is a bit sparse about the information. It was a blast! It was a great time because so often when you go to major city like NY, you open up a search engine or web reviews but that still does not give you a sense of where the good places to visit or eat are like. This tour was great because it gave you a little taste of everything and comes with a booklet of addresses and weblinks so that you can go back on your own to explore later that day or later in the year. While it is about the food, it is also about the NY history. I wish all the major cities had tours like these. I would definately take them to better know the city and neighborhoods. Note, this is a 3hr walking tour -- make sure you have comfortable shoes and you are ok to walk the whole time. We were a bit tired when we were done. If you are a carb-free diet, you will not want to go to the Greenwich Village Tour. Pizzia and Bread and cookies are the main foods of the day. You are handed a bottle of water for the tour, which is great for the spring -- may not be enough for the summer. All in all, very happy with the tour and will going back for another with a different set of friends later this year. |

| Unfortunately, I have taken a culinary tour of the Boston North End that was spectacular. Although, this was enjoyable, it was not in the same category. The one in Boston was more intensely culinary and led by someone who was extremely knowledgable in this area. Most of the culinary information at the stops on the Boston tour was provided by the shopkeepers themselves who were extremely knowledgable about what they sold. All the stops were as informative as the "Olive Oil Ladies" on your tour. I did enjoy the architectural and historical details of the Greenwich City tour, but I didn't come away knowing alot more about food. Also, not that I usually complain about this, but there was just too much food sampling. I could have done with only one slice of pizza (the second pizza stop was fantastic) and one dessert (the cannolli!). I would have enjoyed the proprietors of these places talking about their products. |

| My group really enjoyed this tour. Maria, our guide, was friendly and informative.
We learned a lot about Greenwich Village in a short time. We went back to the Village the next night and ate at a local restaurant we would never have known about.
We will take another tour on our next trip to New York.
Thanks for offering this wonderful experience. |

| I Learned a lot about Greenich Village history and about food in the area.
I came back to the area to eat and shop, as a result of this tour.
Great guide.very personable and knowledgeable. I felt that I could trust her opinions on the various eateries, she wasn't just shilling for them.
I will definitelyu be reccomending your food tours to friends. |

| My buddy and I were on a gal-pal trip to New York and one of the major highlights (of which there were many) was the food tour. Marie was a fantastic tour guide, very knowledgeable and generous with her attention and humor. The food tastings were wonderful (we went back on our last day to have another slice of Joe's Pizza!) and we just enjoyed every minute. Next time we come to New York I'll definitely go on another food tour (probably two, knowing how much fun they are!) and would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to really get to know a NY neighborhood and get a taste of the local flavor.....literally!!! |

| A great tour. Our guide (Ed) gave us a good insight into the area and we had some great food along the way. Whether you are a ‘foodie’ or not this is really enjoyable way to spend a few hours. Just remember not to eat beforehand! |

| I can really recommend the Greenwich village tour. Greate fun, the guide was perfect, the food tasting was nice. We learnt a lot about the Village, history, people living there, and the food! :-)
On our next return, we will try one of your other tours. |
