The tour guide was excellent--engaging, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I took two of my out-of-town family members and we all loved it. I have lived in New York for 2 years and am a certifiable foodie and I still learned a ton and discovered some great places to eat! Highly recommended.

Tour Guide Michael Karp is "the" best-informed tour guide we have ever encountered, and this includes international tours. His knowledge base is obviously from personal experience and not by 'preparation'. The three hour experience melted away as he wove the tapestry of the village - of course in culinary tasting-but more importantly in the history and fabric of the village itself. One could never understand all the nuances with a self-guided tour and clearly, Mr. Karp's wealth of knowledge reflects his interest in the subject. His knowledge of history astounded us. As a docent/tour guide at a museum in our hometown, we understand what it takes to be well informed for the visitor experience. THANK YOU for assigning us to Mr. Karp and give him our profound thanks. We would certainly do this tour again, and would request Mr. Karp for the occasion.

This tour is fabulous. We had Michael who has a wealth of knowledge of the Village and is entertaining. Not only did we taste great food, but we also came away with an appreciation for Greenwich Village, it's culture and food! I was surprised at the variety in the tour. I guess I expected us to walk non-stop and eat non-stop, but it was a good mix of touring, stopping to here details of an area and food tasting. This tour is a definite highlight of our vacation and I would say a "don't miss" for anyone going to New York!

My husband, three teenage daughters, and I had a great time. The food was delicious and the historical facts and trivia were interesting and fun. Lots of great suggestions on resturants we will definitely be visiting in the future.

Kurt provided us with an excellent tour of the village. He was very knowledgable and shared so much information with us. The food we sampled from the restaurants and shops was very good! Also explored the wonderful neighborhood. What culture and history! We would highly recommend this tour. Look forward to visiting NYC again and trying another sightseeing adventure!

Really liked it, but might throw a glass of wine or a beer in, along with maybe some fries or something from 86 bedford. My husband is a med size guy and he could have eaten quite a bit more w/o stuffing himself.
