| I've done this tour before and I enjoyed it both times. This time, our guide was EXTREMELY informative, even more than my last tour guide, and it was fun to hear so much historical information; however, I felt that the food was a less significant part of the tour than the last time I took it. Previously, it seemed we were moving constantly from place to place. This time, we stopped for long periods to discuss various sights. I would have preferred to keep it moving and perhaps have a couple more tastings. I didn't feel as 'full' this time as I did the last tour. Also, while I enjoyed both types of pizza that we tried, it was a bit redundant. Last time, we stopped at a kabob (?) place and had a small gyro type tasting which was delicious. I missed that. However, I loved the addition of the olive oil shop...that was awesome. My friend and I went back and made purchases. The cannoli at the end of the tour while at the cheese shop was delicious, but I would have preferred to see the shop where it was made, rather than it being handed to me at the cheese shop. Overall, great tour. Looking forward to trying the other tours. |

| the tour was great, appreciate the glorious weather (!) and Cindy's knowledge of history made the event even better. I was also pleased that the store/restuarant owners seemd so thrilled to have us ... the all seemed to take an interest in us and were enthusiastic about their place!
I didnt really care for Aphrodesia - that was a stop I wish I missed... no food, uninterested store owner, very narrow window of interest
I'll be on another tour the next time Im back! |

| I'm only sorry that I did not take the tour earlier in my travels to New York. NYC is overwhelming and this tour gave a local's opinion of places to go and eat. The background info of the history and local characters was great too! |

| Mike was an enthusiastic, entertaining, funny and informative guide. Only negative was that we ate too much! I look forward to my next visit to New York and another tour with Foods of New York. |

| We enjoyed the tour very much, the guide Cindy, was very well informed and told us a lot about the neighbourhood and New York. The atmosphere in the group was very good and because we were not that many we got to know each other (thanks to Cindy:-)
We got a list of restaurants and tried two during our stay, they were excellent the food delicious and the price very reasonable. (Little Havana and Home)
Next time we visit New York we will take another tour to get to know the city the best way. Thank you. |

| Do this tour! It is one of the best things we have done on our visit to Manhattan. Our guide was Michael and he was entertaining, knowledgeable and witty. Don't miss it - you will have a fantastic time visiting all the hidden treasures of Greenwich village with a guide who is passionate about the area. The food we sampled was delicious and we would highly recommend the tour. Just do it! |

| I never knew there were so many wonderful restaurants, artisan food shops and beautiful little side streets in Greenwich Village. The group was small and friendly. The guide was well informed and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. Great fun!! |

| Mike was the perfect leader for our tour - energetic, witty, creative and with a real passion for the neighborhood and it's history. The Village is a part of the City we always wanted to know more about and now we have a great foundation to start exploring on our own. Thank you for creating a business which combines two of our favorite activities - walking through New York City neighborhoods and eating! |

| Our tour guide was enthusiastic, friendly, and accomodating. Along with taking us from eatery to shop, she pointed out some historical sites in Greenwich Village - she took our group along a street where the making of the film version of "Doubt" is now under way. She was even kind to just have our group swing by places (restaurants, for example) along our route that were not included as a tour stop. The only thing I would change is to offer more diverse food options: we had two servings of pizza, a serving of Thai food, cookies from a bakery, cheese and olives from Murray's Cheese Shop, cold cut slices from a long-time Italian butcher shop and olive oil from OOCO (not sure if I have the name right.). It's nice that I received a pamphlet of suggested eateries/restaurants that I would not have known of. |
