| I enjoyed the tour but found that the guide focused too much on the restaurants/shops and how much they cost etc. - it almost seemed that they were more concerned with future business for the participating companies than the current tour.
I would have skipped a few of the stops (e.g. 2nd pizza) - focus on a few with an opportunity to sit down and enjoy the experience rather than rush through them all. I really appreciated the opportunity to hear about the history, iconic buildings and characteristics of the neighbourhood. |

| This was a great tour. Even my NJ aunts didn't know that much about Greenwich Village. Good variety of foods and plenty to eat. Would not recommend for children under 13 or 14, though. My child was bored. |

| There were 4 of us on the tour, we are all well traveled......and we all agreed that this was one of the BEST excursions we had ever taken. We had plenty of opportunity to sit and rest, so don't be concerned about getting too tired. There was a 90 year old on the tour and she did just fine. Don't miss it!! Our only regret.....we didn't go the first day of our trip so we could go back and dine at some of the restaurants. |

| Even though we were rained on for much of the tour, it won't be the rain I remember but rather the useful informaiton on what the restaurants on Bleecker street serve and other information about them.
The tour provided a great overview of the highlighted restaurants and we went back that evening for dinner at one of them! (Rissoritto).
Our guide was friendly and responsive. I' recommend Marie as a guide. |

| On April 4, 2006, I decided to take the tour. Our tour guide Cindy was Awesome! She is full of energy, knowledge and she feeds you! Too bad she's married! LOL! I highly recommend this tour, the food is DELICIOUS and it's all within 4-5 blocks. From cheese to pastries, you will NOT go home hugry! And you will definitely learn something. |

| It was an excellent tour of a variety of foods offered in just a couple of blocks in Greenwich Village. A little heavy at times but very enjoyable. |

| We often take walking tours in Europe...some group tours and some private. As native New Yorkers, we are always looking to discover our own city and this tour did not disappoint. This was our second food tour with Foods of NY, having taken the Chelsea Market tour and we were very satisfied. We were both pleased that neither of the tours was redundant with the other and with the mixture of history, food, and humor with which the tour was delivered. Michael was an excellent tour guide. We heard equally good things about the other tour guides from those on earlier and later tours. A must do! |

| Entertaining, knowledgeable guide that gave you an excellent feel for Greenwich Village, it's past (and Pasta), and what it is now. We visited some delightful, small food outlets and shops and sampled some very good food. The visit to Chumley's speakeasy was a highlight. |

| Really enjoyed learning more about Greenwich Village. The tasting were great, especially loved the rice balls. I plan to go back with my husband and try one of the restaurants for dinner. |

| We were met promptly and corteously. Kurt the guide was polite and gave explanations but did not overdo it!
All places were clean and we were made welcome. It was a bit awkward in the first place 'Joes Pizza ' due to lack of room.
He seemed to enjoy himself and was good with a funny cross-section of people.
These were mostly American and they enjoyed it.
Best part of our trip. After it we spent a part of the day going round in more detail.
We would do it again. Kurt got the biggest tip all week. |
