| She was fabulous. Highly recommended as a birthday gift for a significant other or just a fun day to eat and get an educational tour of the area. |

| This tour was even better than we expected! Our guide, kirk(?), was fun, very knowledgeable, friendly and humorous. He seemed to know everyone on the street and learned all of our names, making the experience feel personal and special. We learned so much about the neighborhood too, and all the food we were served was very good. What with living in a major food oriented area and knowing alot about cuisine, we both have pretty high standards. And, although we normally choose to eat a lighter fare, everything served was very much enjoyed, particularly the cauliflower dish prepared for us at Palma. Our tour guide gave us a much richer understanding of the history, culture and architecture of one of New York's most interesting areas, and our Italian heritage was very well-fed. |

| This was my first walking/tasting tour and I loved it! Our tour guide, Kurt was enthusiastic and polite which always makes an experience that much better, a good seance of humor and he remembered all of our names, something I could not have done. I thought we were given a great quality and quantity of food to sample from many different locations, which is most of why we went to enjoy ma and pa type of food that we would have never known were there or the locations. Now when visiting we know a different part of Manhatten and the delicious restaurants offered there. Also, the history of the town and little tid bits our guide had to offer of the area was wonderful to know. Absolutely enjoyed the tour and would do it again, or one of the others offered as well!!
Thank you. |

| I had read such great reviews about this tour, that maybe I built up my expectation too much? Our tour guide, Cindy, was great...but we had some real characters on our tour who required a lot of attention and it wore on everyone in the group, including the tour guide.
The main thing that I got out of it was an overview/introduction to Greenwich Village and several of the many cool places to shop/dine there. For that I am grateful as I plan to go back soon and often.
Murray's and Rocco's were definitely the highlights!
Thanks. |

| Not only was our tour guide great, she was also an actress. She added entertainment to the tour as well. The weather was perfect as was our group. I didn't even look at my watch once, time flew by. My 23 year old daughter was with me and was, at first, hesitant about this activity. Mixing eating with learning about the area was fun, and we met some new people. This company is a definate on our list on our next visit. After the play that night, we stopped for pizza in Times Square - no comparision. Thanks for a great time. |

| Our female tour guide was great! She was very informative, witty and was an excellent resource for not only the food establishments we visited but also NYC as a whole. I found the food we tasted to be excellent and I would go back to any of the establishments we visited again. The tour was my favorite part of a three day weekend in the City. I have already looked on line for more food tours that I can participate in. |

| The question I always ask myself after most events is "would I do it again"? The answer here is a resounding "yes". The food tastings were very good; the history was interesting, but the huge bonus was the presence of our tour guide Sephora. It was like spending a few hours with a wonderful friend who was a first rate entertainer and comedienne. We had a blast.
Thank you Foods of New York.

| The tour guide was funny and very nice. This was a popular tour so the tickets were sold out quickly. I happened to book mine on the Columbus Day (Monday). They have a great list of places to visit but Monday seems to be a less popular as many of good restaurants and shops are closed. I was hoping to try more variety foods in small portions but end up having two of different style pizza slices during the course. Other than that, the contents of tour is fun and enjoyable. |

| Our guide was delightful, clearly knew the stores/foods. Enjoyed tasting the two battling types of pizza, the cookie and the italian pastry, and the cheeses.
Overall it was fun but definitely less informative than I had imagined. Although we were told we would learn something about cow vs goat vs sheep milks cheeses, in fact no information was offered (except tasting threee cheeses, which I assume each represented one type, but that was never clear). No guidance on particular brands of foods, but stopping in front of such a variety of stores and restaurants and hearing stories about each will make it easier to use this neighborhood for cooking/eating pleasures in the future. |
