| We were met promptly and corteously. Kurt the guide was polite and gave explanations but did not overdo it!
All places were clean and we were made welcome. It was a bit awkward in the first place 'Joes Pizza ' due to lack of room.
He seemed to enjoy himself and was good with a funny cross-section of people.
These were mostly American and they enjoyed it.
Best part of our trip. After it we spent a part of the day going round in more detail.
We would do it again. Kurt got the biggest tip all week. |

| This was a very enjoyable tour of the food and cultural highlights of one of the most historic areas of New York city. We gathered at Murray's Cheese shop and our guide, Marie, was very welcoming and friendly. The food we tasted was of very high quality and gave us a full flavour of the gastronomic delights of the Greenwich village area. As visitors from Scotland we would highly recommend this tour as a perfect way to find your bearings and plan your stay in the area. |

| I would HIGHLY recommend the Foods of New York walking tour in Greenwich Village. Our tour guide Ed was a local, very informative, and friendly. Not only did we learn about the food culture of Greenwich Village, but we learned about the historical aspect as well. We got to try a lot of different foods and see a wide variety of food shops and restaurants. The food was fabulous, and I was completely full by the end. This was an unforgettable experience! |

| It's a great way to learn about a section of the city and true insights for non- New Yorkers. The tour buses are nothing compared to what this offers - more details of the area with the shopping and the food. We had a great tour guide that spoke from the heart and was a true NY. Very easy pace so if you want to purchase items from the shops, the timing is relaxed. The shop owners enjoyed the group and eagerly served great samples and suggestions. |

| I've lived in NYC for eight years and this is the second time I've gone on this tour. The first was with a best friend and this time was with my boyfriend. NYC dwellers can appreciate this tour just as much if not more than tourists becuase we can head the advice of our guides and go back to the restaurants we visited. It's the perfect mix of history and culinary indulgence. Being italian (and my boyfriend not) I got to share with him a piece of my culture as well. I plan on giving a gift certificate to my family and friends for the holidays.
On another note, our tour guide Mike was fantastic. He is a true veteren of the village and his frequent familiarity with the patrons and dwellers of the neigborhood added to the experience. I felt as if he really new the village and had not just read a guide provided by the organization. Please, please create a food tour for other neighborhoods in NY. Such a treat! |

| Had spotted this tour on the internet which seemed to have an interesting itinerary. Although a wet day, Ed our tour guide was excellent on describing the foods and history of this unique area. This was our second visit to New York and we wanted to sample a more local flavour this time, we set off visiting local shops and restaurants we would never have dreamt of going into. Usually glancing at a menu outside is as far as we would ever get, but with Ed's guidance we would have the confidence to try these places in the future. The history of the area was also very rewarding, looking at a plaque outside a building never tells the real story. Excellent tour, great guide, keep up the good work. |

| We had the most wonderful time ever. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the city. All of the food was delicious. We never felt rushed and there were plenty of stops for the restroom. One person in our group has MS and walks with a cane. We were a little worried that she wouldn't have anywhere to sit and that she might not be able to keep up with the tour. We were very pleased at how she was able to take small breaks and our guide did not walk so fast that we could not keep up. We loved it so much we are thinking of doing another walking food tour next year. Thanks a million!!! |

| Information - wonderfully delighted on the information shared
Food- incredible, can' wait to try complete dining at all of the places on the tour
Tour Guide - completely made the day, no other words but GREAT
Would recommend this to everyone that wants to tour the village. Not a lot of walking, so this would be suitable for anyone that can walk slowly for a few blocks. This is a don't miss when sight seeing in NYC! |
