My wife and I joined the group of c.16 on a Thursday morning. The tour guide (Carrie Anne) was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and likeable. We enjoyed 8 tastings in a good variety of establishments spread around the three or four blocks in the neighbourhood, and had no need of lunch at the end of it! We both felt the tour had provided us with a real taste of the area, not just in food but also in the history and make up of the locality. This was excellent value for the money spent, and well worth recommending to others. |

Our humorous and totally engaging tour leader offered us insight into the Greenwich Village neighborhood that only a "native" could by providing us with information, curious tales, and delicious tastings of the local offerings! The store keepers we met on the tour were inviting and friendly. What a great way to get to know a NYC neighborhood! |

We were a group of adults looking for something to do on our weekend in NYC. One of our group had heard of the tour and suggested we go. It was a great choice Our tour leader Marie was funny and informative making the experience a lot of fun Great food, generous portions for tastings and nicely paced. We all learned about the area's history and restaurants Can't wait to try another tour |

As a baby boomer, my memories of Greenwich Village were of smokey coffee houses with great music and poetry. Now fourty years later, I enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the neighborhoods history, architecture, and great restraunts. The coffee houses, great music and poetry are still there, but now we get to enjoy so much more. Great tour! |

We had a great time on our tour, made even more interesting by the excessive amount of snow that had fallen over the Christmas weekend. Roads still covered in snow and sidewalks requiring us to walk single file just added to the fun we had. Mind you, there was probably way too much food provided over the 3 hours - I ran out of room!!!
Definitely give it a go - it is an amazing thing to do. |

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour. We were surprised with the amount of information that we learned--both about food and the city. Our tour guide was excellent and made our tour most entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting something different, enjoyable, and informative when visiting the city. |

Our guide (Barri) was great. I'm in New York almost annually - keep going to the same places. I'd been to Greenwich Village a couple of times, but because of the layout, it is too easy to get confused. If you don't know where to go, you just stay near the main streets. So I hadn't been back in many years. This tour through the historic section was SO interesting and helped me identify better with famous names from my past. Even though we only visited one restaurant - mostly individual shops (cheese, pasta, pizza, etc.) she pointed out several other restaurants that she recommended. We stayed in the village after the tour, shopped, and then ate at Po's. The food was wonderful and the wait staff could not have been better or more friendly. I felt that we'd just had a full day with a great group of friends! |
