Enjoyed the balance between the varieties of culinary treats, the information about the neighborhood and the history of the Village very much.
My friend and I have been to Manhattan many times, but had never done anything like this - we had a great time. |

Loved the combination of exploring food eateries as well as learning the history of the neighborhood, the architecture, etc. It was a most enjoyable way of getting to know a neighborhood on a first name basis! |

Our tour guide was knowledgeable, interesting and engagin (Barry)...but never too invasive or pushy about anything. The food was excellent, varied, well described and...a LOT o' FooD! We were most interested in the history of the area and the balance between food, history and culture was well designed and well executed. Kudos. My date lives in NY and she loved it as well. I'll bring friends and family and do it again. |

We really enjoyed the tour, our guide was fantastic - very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both the area and the food. More food than we expected - certainly did not need lunch afterwards.
We will definitely be booking another trip next time we visit New York. |

We are 4 female friends from UK on a girly trip to New York and by chance heard of this tour which we booked in advance. We loved it - our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable and enthusastic with a great sense of humour. We are really pleased we did not miss the chance to book this tour and would gladly recommend it to anyone to try. |

My friend from Ohio and I (from NYC) had a blast on the Greenwich Village Tasting Tour. Not only was ALL of the food delicious, but we also learned a ton about the history of old time new york city. The tour was extremely well organized and orchestrated and our guide Kurt had a great personality and a sense of humor that was right up our alley. I highly recommend this tour to visitors from out of town as well as native NY'ers. Thanks ! |

My wife and I enjoyed learning about the history of the West Village and getting a chance to appreciate the history of this great community within a community. We also got to see the area's attractive architecture.
Our guide, Kurt, was knowledgeable and extremely entertaining....a sharp and witty dude who made our tour a blast. The many stops along the way introduced us to memorable pizza, Italian pastry, olive oil, cheese, cookies, Thai food and peeks into some great local restaurants as well as courtyard gardens. Many of the places will be repeats for us when we next get to NYC. Great job , good value and an unforgettable afternoon.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hour tour, not only the food tasting, which was varied and excellent but the pocket history and local information given by Maria.
Should we be in New York at a later date we certainly would find the time to take one of the other food tours.
All in all an excellent day! |
