The tour included enough history and variety of food to be entertaining but not too tiring. For a first time traveler to NY a feel I have a knowledge of where to eat when visiting Greenwich. I will most likely take another food tour on my next visit. |

What excitement to meet in front of an old cheese shop. We followed our well versed guide into the heart and sole of the village. Tiny shops that we probably would have walked right by held our attention. We discovered off broadway theaters , old speakeasies , discovered original cottages now covered by apartment fronts only to find the gardens in back and cottages as they once were in 1800's , locations of restaurants only seen on food TV . The food samples were excellent and will ever draw us back for more. |

The tour we took was wonderful: great choices of restaurants and tastings. The Greenwich Village area was fantastic and as locals, we even learned a few new things about our city. The very best part was the guide, Kurt. This guy was engaging, entertaining, funny, informative and made us all feel like he cared that we enjoy our tour. He was the best! |

I appreciated getting to know the neighborhood, history and sampling some of the amazing food. I do feel like I could return and navigate the neighborhood and revisit several of the restaurants and markets. It was a nice combination of walking, sitting and listening. The guide was a pastry chef which really added to the tour. She was familiar with the area and knew many people on the street and in the restaurants/bakeries. Nest time I'm in New York, I plan to go on another neighborhood food tour and may enjoy it even more knowing what to expect. |

This was a great experience. Our tour guide Kurt - was superb. Not only did he know his 'stuff' but was funny and made the whole experience great fun as well as informative. We have always liked the feeling of Greenwich Village but really enjoyed getting to know more about it and trying out the food. |

Nice that some history was included in the tour. Our friends returned that evening for dinner at one of the restaurants on the tout. |

A friend who took the tour recently recommended it. We have never bought tickets for anything ahead on the web -- but decided to this time. We were not dissappointed.
The information we needed came to us by return email -- about where, when and what to expect. It was a rainy day but the tour took place as advertized. We arrived by subway and short walk. We waited in a coffee shop on the corner and had a pleasant visit with a local resident.
Our Tour Guide, Kirk was super -- entertaining and knowledgeable about the area and the food! The food was varied and well-prepared. The walk was not difficult and we were out of the weather most of the time. The shop owners were friendly and hospitable. Definitely worth the price.
