Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Overall had no complaints. Great tour and food. Guide knew her stuff, was very nice, and took care of us with btls of water bc it was 95 degrees.

Marie was conscientious of her group's well being in the extreme heat, in addition to being very knowledgeable and friendly. The samplings were outstanding, and did result in many in our tour returning to eat at the establishments later that night or in the next few days. The info presented on the history and architecture of the Village was very appreciated.

We found a number of things with this tour disappointing. Firstly, given it was a food tour we found the food rather disappointing. Secondly, maybe our expectations of Greenwich were too high but we found the area rather dull. Perhaps this was a reflection of how we found the tour guide! We found much of the narrative on the tour was completely over our heads and hadn't heard of the majority of the people that the guide was tlaking about. Seeing the "Friends" TV house was good.

The guide MIKE really made this tour special for all of us . He was very knowledgeable about the district, the shops and the food. Not only did he enthuse about the food he gave me a lasting impression of an amazing Grenwich Village , which I visited once more at a later date. My son & daughter are going to NY later in the year and I have told them and now tell you NOT TO MISS THIS TOUR

We had a great time walking through Greenwich Village. Lots of interesting places and history. The food was very good. Lots of samples. My only complaint was I would gave liked only 1 pizza sample instead of 2 different places.

Our tour guide, Sapphra, was charming, enthusiastic, and extremely knowledgeable of the area and the foods associated with the area. My wife and I learned a lot, and even went back to the village today to sample some more of what was to be enjoyed in Greenwich Village. Very nice.

I really enjoyed our tour. The places and the tastes were worth the tour in the heat.

Did this tour and another tour the following day. We already enjoyed both the way the tour was set up, where and what was covered and especially our enthusiastic & knowledgeable guide Heather. However, compared against the tour we took the following day, Heather and the tour shined even more. The supposed #2 tour on TripAdvisor was in every way an inferior experience to the Greenwich village tour we took with Heather. We would book another tour with this company again in the future but unlikely to try another tour with the other company.

Learned a lot about the culture of Greenwich Village and its history. Tore guide was excellent and extremely knowledgable.

The food was fantastic and Lisa was a great tour guide.
