Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

This was a blast! I will highly recommend this tour. Our guide could not have been better. He was Greenwich Village! Outstanding, can't stop talking about it.

We would recommend the greenwich tour to everyone! The tour guide gave us a great sense of the the surrounding neighborhood. The tastings of food were fantastic! We returned to the neighborhood the next day to explore on our own.

The tour guide probably made the tour what it was. As a long time resident of Greenwich Village, he was a bit quirky and seemed to sum up the unique character of the area. We learnt quite a lot in a short time about the area, in addition to sampling food from a number of interesting retail businesses. The tour did exactly what we wanted it to do, and felt it was well worth what it cost. Armed with the background provided, we subsequently went back to the village feeling that we understood it better. Very enjoyable, thank you!

Our tour included much more than food tasting. We got history on many of the buildings and locations around the area. It was very interesting for everyone in our group. We plan on doing more of these when we are in town.

If you ever worried about crime, grime or unfriendly people, RELAX! This is the nicest, cleanest and funniest tour you can take in New York. I'm only sorry I didn't make reservations sooner for all the other food tours. Our guide was humorous, knew all there was to know about the food and was a walking history book of the neighborhood. The food was delicious too but that was only the highlight. The guide made it a fun experience. I would recommend this to anyone, young or old. It rained and was still a blast! this was recommended to me and it ended up to be one of the highlights of my trip,ill do it again with my husband when we come back next year, we told alot of new yorkers about it also and they seemed impress

We had a very good, knowledgable tour guide that made you really feel that she wanted us to be there and enjoyed what she was doing. The walking wasn't to much and we got to stop and listen to interesting facts and taste quite a bit of tasty foods from Greenich Village. We were lucky it didn't rain. We were extremely full after the 3 hour tour. We would highly recommend it.

Excellent and well organised tour

Marie was a great tour guide. My husband and I really enjoyed the whole experience and if we find ourselves back in New York we will probably take the tour again. We were in the city on vacation for 1 week and the New Yorkers were really nice, well except for the ones in Greenwich Village. When we would try to stop someone to ask directions they totally ignored us. Also they like to use their car horns alot, even when you are not in their way. Other than that Marie was very knowledgable and most friendly and everyone in our tour group loved her.

I wish we had done the this tour first, so that we could have made reserevations for dinner the rest of the nights of our visit to New York! The tour was excellent!
