Our tour guide, Michael was outstanding, I throughly enjoyed the tour, while learning a lot of history of the Village. I would suggest , you provide a small glass of wine with the wonderful cheese, if possible and a small glass of milk with the delicious chocolate chip cookie. I will recommend this tour to my friends.

This activity is very focused on food in the neighborhood: restaurants, bakeries and stores. To learn about the literary or artistic Greenwich Village you need to take another tour. The information provided is very interesting and can be very usefull with visiting family or friends.

This tour was one of the best things I have ever done in NYC. Michael, our tour guide, provided us with a wonderful afternoon of good food mixed with history and architecture. It was amazing, and I not only learned Greenwich Village history, but have discovered many restaurants and clubs that I will certainly try out in the future. We literally walked around the block, but it felt like we toured around the world. I highly recommend this tour, and am going to sign up for another one in the Meatpacking District when I return to NYC next month. It has also given me some amazing places to take friends when we visit.

This tour was recommended to us by friends. I didn't think my husband would like it and was not going to book it. The night before we left for NY, I decided, why not - my friends were so insistent. I have no regrets! My husband REALLY enjoyed the tour! We had a GREAT tour guide, Mike was his name, and we had a fun group. This area is so full of history and the food was great. I felt like we had gone back in time, when people had to shop daily for their groceries and such. Rocco's Bakery was my favorite - just to look at the artistic pasteries was fascinating. After the tour we had lunch at the Home Restaurant which was mentioned on our tour. It was quaint, friendly and very good food. I highly recommend this tour, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

My mom and I took this tour hoping to see an inside look at Greenwich Village. We were not disappointed! Our guide, Marie, was fantastic and showed us many off the beaten path houses, restaurants, bars, theaters, etc. The food was all very good and the portions were huge for a tasting! I would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family, and will certainly try one of the other Food Tours on future trips.

My daughter and I took the Greenwich Village tour last week and enjoyed it more than I could have imagined. Our tour guide, Cindy, was fun and funny, and very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the history of the area. It was a wonderful experience, and one we'll certainly recommend.

We took this tour based on some other reviews and were not disappointed. Our guide Barrie was very friendly and knowledgable and gave us incites and took us places we would never have discovered on our own. The food was great - don't eat before you go. This is one of the best value tours we have taken - for the price of lunch you get lunch with a tour thrown in!

Our group of four had a very enjoyable time on the food tour. We enjoyed all of the food selections and learning about the history and culture of Greenwich Village. We highly recommend this tour. We plan on returning and participating in one of the other tours offered.
