| This was a tremendous way to enjoy a holiday weekend with the family--and a great way to see the city without getting caught up in the "Touristy crowds"!
Cindy the tour guide was "adorable". She was very friendly, knowledgable and passionate about the village. Her excitement really added to the value of the tour. The selections of stops along the way were perfectly time and the food tastings were of great variety. We can't wait to come back to the city and do another tour! |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Greenwich Village. Our guide provided tons of information not only about the places we visited but also about the neighborhood in general. By the time it was over we felt like we really knew the area and couldn't wait to try many more of the places that were mentioned. It was wonderful! |

| Barry was our tour guide and she was terrific. I moved to the city 3 months ago and I booked this tour for myself, my boyfriend and a friend visiting from California. My boyfriend has lived in the city for 6 yrs and was NOT looking forward to the tour(having lived in the village he felt that he already knew all that needed to be known). About 5 minutes into our tour his attitude changed and we ended up having an awesome afternoon.
The portions were great and the food was so amazing that we returned to Greenwich 2 days later and ate mant of the same foods.
Thank you. |

| I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in experiencing the wonderful cuisine of Greenwich village. There are a number of quality resturaunts, bakeries, and shops you will explore along with a cultural history of the neighborhood. You will leave with a better understanding of where to bring friends and family when you visit again. |

| It was a Christmas gift to our daughters ages 14, 20 & 23. We totally enjoyed it. The food was great and we learned so much about Greenwich Village that we could not have found out on our own. Our tour guide, Marie, was right there where we were supposed to meet her and she gave us a great introduction including a bottle of water. I wasn't sure what to expect since I had booked it online, but it certainly was worth it. We can't wait to try another tour. |

| My husband and two teenagers (17 and 15) joined me on the Greenwich Food Tour. It was Day 7 of our NYC trip, and we'd pretty much seen it all - shows, museums, Liberty and Ellis Islands, the Rockettes, the Nutcracker, the Empire State Building and the Top of the Rock, meals at fine restaurants, shopping galore - and we were already suffering from sensory overload.
The Food Tour was like a breath of fresh air - exactly what we needed! Curt, our tour guide, couldn't have been better: Warm, funny, engaging, charismatic, and friendly, there was never a dull moment. As he expertly guided us thru the Village and showered us with tasty morsels and peppered us with interesting trivia about the place and the people, we experienced the Village in 3.5 hours in a way that we wouldn't have been able to accomplish with the 4 or 5 guidebooks that we bought for our tour.
We arrived at the designated spot about an hour early and spent the time browsing at the shops: OMG, it was a foodie's delight!!! We didn't want to be loaded with shopping bags and made it a point to take note of what goodies we wanted to buy at the end of the tour.
Among the highlights of our tour:
The tasty aroncini from Faicco's (my son went back and bought a dozen to-go)
The cheese tasting at Murray's - the only thing was we could have used some vino :-)
The mini cannolis from Rocco's - literally melted in the mouth
The wonderful risotto from Centro Vinoteca - we loved it so much we went back for an early dinner after doing some shopping, and we were not disappointed - the meal was wonderful!!!
The cauliflower with caramelized onions, pine nuts, and currants we had at a private kitchen - even my son who is not into veggies, ate his share and asked for more.
The very flavorful slice of pizza with a to-die-for crust
We enjoyed this tour immensely, and Curt deserves a lot of the credit for making it so much fun.
Food Tours will definitely be part of any future NYC trips! |

| What a wonderful three hours. The Greenwich Village food and history tour, led by our marvelous tour guide, Cindy, was one of the best tourist activities we undertook during our Christmas in NYC vacation.
The historical perspective given by the tour guide, along with the incredible food and rich culture, was a perfect combination.

| I'm from the Bronx and I have never seen New York this way and realized all these great small shops and restaurants that I always pass by on a daily occasion. Our tour guide Cindy was a blast and kept me and my friend with a smile the entire time. Although the crappy weather (raining and super cold), I didn't regret a thing. We got to meet the chefs, meet new people in our group and more importantly EAT! Incredible experience for local and out of town-ers. Lots of fun! |

| We have visited NY many times. After Marie took us around the western village we felt so at ease and welcomed. No longer the tourist or outsider we now feel that no matter what, we can go to a small corner of the NY world and feel like we belong. So much personalization and wonderful committment to the food and history of the area. After the tour we did not want to leave, we could have kept walking around and tasting for hours (but we were full). Thank you for a great day, and for teaching us to "fish" instead of just giving us food. The Sherman's from N.C. |
