| If you live someplace else, but love NY, you must do this tour! Perfect balance of tastings, trivia and history. Cindy was the guide for my tour and she was entertaining and hospitable; made me feel right at home in the Village. I wish every destination I traveled to, offered a tour like this. I plan to do the other tours over time, during my visits to NY. Bring your appetite, it's a movable feast! |

| Susan was our guide for the day and she was very knowledgable about the area and the food. My husband and I are from NY and found this walking tour quite a surprise. We found many new restaurants that we can't wait to try. I would highly recommend the tour, it was worth every penny. |

| I have already used my new found knowledge by providing a restaurant recommendation to friends who will be visiting NYC this weekend.
I think the tour could be improved upon by offering more tastes (could be as small as a spoonful) of food from the restaurants. In my opinion there were too many sweet tastes (cookies, nuts, canoli). Also it would be very nice to have paired a glass of NY state wine with the cheese from Murray's. The stop at Aphrodesia should be eliminated - it is too much of a stretch to include this shop in a food and cultural tour. Also it was puzzling that at least half of the restaurants we were given on our list of 36 were not mentioned or pointed out to us.
I do plan to take the tour of the Village and Soho and the Chelsea Market tour on future visits to NYC. Thanks.

| Money well spent. Great tour guide (would like to have Kurt again), well organized but not scripted. Can't wait to get back to NYC to eat at those restaurants and to do the Chelsea tour. |

| Kurt was our guide and he should be the food critic for the New York Times!
Not only did he know everyone on the tour personally - he expalined the stores purpose, products and even provided his own idea for recipes. We experienced and tasted all kinds of food and the atmosphere of the local restaurants and stores.
We learned the history of the area as well as we got to meet some local celeb.'s.
Kurt learned everyone's name and remembered us. He made us all feel very welcome as well as he encouaged everyone on the tour to interact. So don't be afraid to take this tour solo, by the end you will feel you did the tour with a group of friends. |

| We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Village with Zora. The mix of historic, cultural and menu information was just what we were looking for. We visited a recommended restaurant a couple of days after the tour and were very happy with our experience there. We would recommend this tour to any of our foodie friends! |

| The tour was a lot of fun! Our guide was full of energy and very knowledgable. A lot of food was provided on the tour, so you probably shouldn't eat beforehand! Can't wait to try another! |

| We had a lot of fun, ate delicious food and learned a lot along the way. Even though we live about 40 minutes north of the City and go in often, this was a great way to gain a greater depth of knowledge about an area -- the stores, the restaurants, the history. Our tour guide was great and helped make the day a lot of fun. I would defnitely recommend this tour and we all decided we would like to take another one to explore another neighborhood! |

| Michael was our guide. If you don't already see Greenwich Village as a community with a rich history, you won't remain that way for long. We enjoyed the insider view of Palma, Chumley's stories, and many other interesting anecdotes that Michael had to offer about the neighborhood he truly loves. Most stops were worthwhile, many were fun delicious and/or intriguing. Food was good (dieters need not apply).
We have two teenage sons and my husband works downtown. We live in the NJ suburbs but love NYC. This was a nice departure from a museum and a great way to spend time in the Village with our sons who aren't of legal drinking age (which precludes alot of the fun stuff with them.)
We felt fortunate to have Michael as our guide. We really appreciate the handout of great places to find delicious good food- we will definitely refer to it when making plans in the future. Thank you for a memorable outing. |
