My husband and I live an hour away from Greenwich Village and have never had the opportunity to really explore it. Michael, our tour guide, had an encyclopedic knowledge of the area, the history, the food and was full of funny anecdotes and helpful guidance. We got a real sense of what it was like to live in the Village, both now and hundreds of years ago. We will definitely be back to visit, and shop, and EAT! |

We had a great time, and I would absolutley reccommend to others! In fact I already have! I learned a ton about a city I've lived in my entire life, and the food was great! The only exception being the Thai restaurant we went to. The food was good, but it didn't quite fit in with the point of the tour. That wouldn't stop me from going again though. |

My husband and I were visiting the city from CT for the weekend and we decided on the food tour since a friend had recommended it to us. We are not generally "tour people" so we were a bit skeptical but went ahead and booked it anyways. What a great choice!
We had Ed as our tour guide, he was gracious, witty, and charming all while filling us in on the local scoop and filling our bellies with exceptional tastes. The booklet he gave us at the start of the tour was filled with information on local shops and restaurants which proved invaluable once the tour ended and we went exploring on our own.
We were glad that the tour wasn't just eating but also an informative tour in which we learned about the history of the village and many of the landmarks. The tour was well planned out, paced perfectly, and we were both quite full at the end. My only complaint would be that it had to end. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who likes to eat and perhaps even those who don't... this tour may make you fall in love with food.
We are looking forward to booking another tour for our next visit to the city. |

Marie was simply wonderful. We loved hearing about the history as well as her favorite places and personal anecdotes. I just recommended this to my company as one of (if not THE) best thing that I have done since living in NYC. I can't say enough about how much fun our group of 7 had on Saturday morning.
We'll be back for sure to try out the other tours! |

The tour I was a part of was small (5 people, as opposed to the max 16), but I think it was just right. It was really cold outside, so Cindy, our guide, kept us inside and warm as much as possible. Which she made seem effortless by shuttling us to great shops and pizza parlors and restaurants, all with friendly and informative and accomodating staffs. Cindy was amazing -- energetic, friendly, joking, and, most impressive of all, knowledgeable. She mixed in some neighborhood history with some New York Color and a bit of architecture know-how that made this tour all the more well-rounded. I had gone in expecting to have some good eats, and on that count I wasn't surprised. But it was the overall feeling I had afterward -- of being a part of a city that can be a small town, of finding jewels in a city that sometimes hides them too well, of being inspired to reach out and try new things -- that made this tour truly great. And I really can't say enough about how much of this is due to Cindy, whose enthusiasm really became mine. So I am definitely recommending this to people already and will continue to do so in the future. I am also planning ahead to find time to take the other tours. And when I do, my fingers are crossed that Cindy is there as well. |

I would highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide (Ed) did a great job capturing the history of the Village as well as the exposing us to a variety of delicious foods. The tour was well-paced and balanced. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of this part of the city. |

we recently attended the greenwich village food tasting and cultural tour and it was fantastic. We had Marie as our guide who was very knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. The food we had was very good. I have in fact recommended it to a friend and she will be booking a tour in May. |
