| The food was so versatile. Our guide was intimately knowledgable of the Greenwich Village area and history (his name is Kurt, with red hair). My only suggestion would be to add a glass of wine with the cheese, olives, bread tasting. It's a great tour, well worth the money and time. |

| My husband and I liked the area & shops...it was nice to experience a small village within the city. It was fun to taste different foods from the local stores/restaurants...although we could have done with one less pizza tasting. We ended up going back to a couple of stores and buying olive oil and cheese! The tour guide talked too much about the cost of everything...not enough local history. We didn't seem to really connect with the tour guide. We thought three hours was way too long...should have been two hours max. |

| Our group of 6 ladies had a tremendous time on the tour, thanks in large part to Amy who was so knowledgeable about the history of the area, the architecture, and of course the shops and restaurants. The food tasting along the tour was quite good and more than an ample lunch. Based on Amy's recommendation of several local restaurants, we chose Palma for dinner that same evening. It was excellent and reasonably priced. The comphrensive list provided us (which includes a map of the area) enabled us to return to several places to shop. We are already talking about doing the Chelsea Market tour if our group visits again next year. It helped that the weather was superb, but regardless of weather this tour is a five-star. You won't be disappointed. |

| Really worth doing. Tour guide was fun and knowledgable, and the tour length was about right. We learnt lots of things about Greenwich village which we wouldn't have found out otherwise, and the food tastings were great. Having the bottled water supplied was a nice and essential touch. We certainly plan to re-visit some of the places visited and would certainly want to do the other food tasting tour of Chelsea.
A real find and great value for money! |

| Our group was a combination of one New Yorker and three visitors. The New Yorker who lives 20 minutes away from Greenwich Village was delighted to find out about some new places to visit. We all were pleasantly surprised at the full-sized samplings and the quality of the food we sampled. It was a good variety and very delicious. Our group also enjoyed learning some of the history of the area. Barrie was a great tour guide. She was well-informed and kept us moving, but she also let us savor the food samples and the sights of the area. Some of our group went back the next day to explore and enjoy some more food. I will recommend this tour to everyone I know who will visit New York City.
Thanks for a great time.

| If you have never been to NY, this is a great tour to participate in on the first of second day of your arrival. Because, although the tour is limited to the center of the Greenwich Village neighborhood, it provides a point of reference in terms of the history of NY in general, for example the age of the City (especially compared to the west coast) and how neighborhoods and culture changed over the years. The tour includes some information about the the architecture of the buildings in the neighborhood -- this made me more aware of the City's architecture in general which led me to take notice of the beautiful old buildings I passed when touring other parts of the City. If you are into food and restaurants, the list of restaurants that you are provided with as well and the tour of some selected restaurants is great information to have at the beginning of your trip. This way you will have time to come back and enjoy the wonderful restaurants in the Village.

| Our group consisted of only eight persons which allowed for a more intimate interaction when traveling through the streets of Greenwich Village. Although we only covered about a ten block radius of space we learned much about the current and historical happenings in the area. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in getting to know new york. |

| My friend and I chose to do this activity as a part of our weekend in the city to celebrate our 40th birthdays. We were very happy with the decision. It exceeded my expectations. The food was great as well as the tips on restaurants and shops. We also enjoyed the historical facts given on Greenwich Village. I will definately make Greenwich Village neighborhoods a stop on my next NYC visit. |

| As a group of local individuals, it was great to explore the various restaurants and shops on the tour. We will definitely go back to Joe's Pizza, Rocco's and Bruno's pastries, Faicco's (excellent rice balls), and many of the other stops. |
