| I took my Dad on this tour as a birthday gift to him. We both really enjoyed it. We LOVE food and the tastings were absolutely delicious. We were introduced to so many wonderful under-the-radar restaurants and specialty food stores that I will definitely be returning to. As a life-long Brooklyn resident, I love learning about the history of this amazing city and our tour guide Marie was a wealth of information--really fantastic, energetic, and super funny! I work in Student Affairs at a university and I am planning on booking a group tour for students with Foods of NY. Thank you!!! |

| A friend of mine who is very picky and discerning recommended the food tour with rave reviews so we went in with high expectations and were unfortunately not terribly impressed. The guide we had seemed a bit flighty and not totally sure of her facts; we thought it was rather bizarre to be given one paper napkin (while standing in the rain) that we would need to hold onto for the entire 3 hours; we didn't like that the tastings were mostly carbs and contained rice in multiple occasions; and we had hoped to learn more about the architecture as well as to go into the various places we were being shown instead of just walking by. Lastly, we would have liked to have had some interaction with the chefs or owners of each restaurant/shop, however briefly.
All in all, it was a disappointment. My brother lives in the neighborhood and my sister and mother were in from Chicago and Long Boat Key respectively. A friend who lives in Long Island joined us and I was visiting from Boston. |

| Cindy was our guide and truly was engaged, educated, and enthusiastic on the subject matter. My wife and I without hesitation would recommend the tour and Cindy to anyone visiting New York. Actually in two short days we have already made this recommendation to three other couples |

| I brought my friend, Gregory, for his birthday on this tour after having a wonderful experience on a previous Greenwich/Soho tour, which I enjoyed thoroughly.
I didn't think it was going to be as good - didn't seem possible, but I am happy to report it was even better , largely due to our guide, Cindy, who is absolutely delightfut. We paln on going on the meat district tour for my birthday and will be seeking her out specifically.
I have shared your websit with numerous friiends so others can enjoy.
Thank you!!,

| We had four days in NYC and this tour had been recommended to us. MAKE SURE YOU DO IT even if it means you miss some of the other more traditional sightseeing. Walking around Greenwich Village will give you a sense of the real New York and the restaurants that real New Yorkers rate.
We tasted some fantastic food, met some of the chefs and laughed all the way round with our tour guide who had a great sense of humour. Our tour guide was Sephra (a trained pastry chef) so was more food focused that history and acrhitecture but that suited us fine! |

| My husband and I have lived in NYC for a few years and we went on this with my mom who was visiting from out of town. The tour was more than just food. We learned about the neighborhood/NYC history, tried amazing food samples and had quite a few laughs too. I would recommend this tour to anyone - locals and tourists alike! |

| Our tour guide was fantastic. I could tell that she knew a lot about food (she was a pastry chef) and she also had a passion for the subject matter. My family and I had a great time tasting the food and learning about the history behind Greenwich Village's landmarks. This was four hours well spent! |

| We loved the walking tour. We loved it so much that we returned the next night to one of the resturants that was on the tour. I have passed this website to one of my friends that
will be going to New York next year. On my next trip to New York I will do another
walking tour of another district. |

| The food was very good as was all the info given by Cindy the guide. Very interesting area to visit. We did eat at a couple of places on the tour when it was over. We were a Mom and two adult daughters ( one celebrating her birthday) from MN and SD.
We wil take this tour again if we ever get back to NYC. We have recommended this tour to family members who are in the food business. Thanks Cindy for a most enjoyable afternoon!! |
