Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

We had a lovely tour guide, Marie, who was a bundle of knowledge and joy as she took us around the West Village area sampling 7 different fine foods including the famous Joes Pizza! At the same time we got a history lesson on the architecture and residents of the local neighbourhood as well as tips on what other places to try in the future. Excellent, well worth trying!

Guide Barri was great, weather beautiful, and food superb!

I did not realise how much food is sampled on this tour which makes this quite worthwhile. I regretted eating breakfast as soon as I had the 1st tasting - a whole slice of Joe's pizza! The samples were all awesome and the lovely Curt was very entertaining and helpful in telling us what toilet stops were available. Definitely recommend.

Very enthusiastic guide Heather, really knowledegable and well informed. Organisation was excellent, samples of food very substantial. Whole tour was really good. We would definitely recomend this tour.

I took the 11:30 tour. My guide was Marie and she was friendly and seemed to really enjoy her job a lot .So many great Foods we got to eat ! I am a vegetarian and so she made sure I got something great at each place we stopped. It was my Birthday and When we went to our chocolate chip cookie visit She and Amy had me a cupcake ready and she & our group even sang me Happy Birthday. That Just Made My Day !! I would recommend this tour whole heartedly !!

Whether you lived in the area for awhile or just visiting NYC, this tour has it all. History, trivia, and local food that you might not otherwise know about, along with superb food tastings and a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide makes this a must do while in the big city. Thank you Curt for helping create a memory that I will treasure always.

This tour is not only delicious but fun and informative as well! Sephrah was an amazing tour guide--so much personality and so vibrantly passionate about the neighborhood. I learned so much about the origin of the neighborhood, its food, and its people, when all I was really expecting was food! Portions were also larger than I expected; I certainly didn't need lunch afterwards. I will be dragging friends back to many of the wonderful places we visited on this tour.

This was my first tour and it FAR exceeded my expectations. Our tour guide, Bert, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the area - history, architecture, food, and restaurants. He was welcoming, friendly, funny and articulate. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone I know!

Our leader, Bari, was incredibly knowledgable and pleasant. The food was good and the information I received about restaurants, the history, landmarks and more was great. Come hungry though.

This was a great way to get spend the afternoon. Our guide was very knowledgable (Kerrianne) and learned a lot about the area and history. The food was great and the best way to try different foods that you normally wouldn't get a chance to taste and the history on it as well. Well worth the money!!! Looking forward to my next trip to NYC to go on others.
