We really enjoyed the Greenwich Village tour; it was one of the highlights of our trip. Not only did it introduce us to the local food offerings but it provided a great history of the Greenwich Village area that we wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Great option for families too; our kids (11 & 9) had a great time.

Got my ticket to the West Village Food walking tour last week and was really looking forward to it. Woke up to a rainy, ugly day and figured, eh, I'll just skip it. Then, I changed my mind and am I ever glad i did. I soooo recommend this tour...it was worth the damp, soggy feeling from the weather. The quantity and quality of the food far beat my expectations. I was stuffed and and the diversity and selection of food was excellent. From the pizza, to the chocolate chip cookie, to the cheese, to the rice ball, to even the cauliflower, I loved this tour and heartily recommend it to anyone who's into food, history, the Village or just have some time to kill. The guide was entertaining and informational, sharing historical references and interesting trivia. I spend a lot of time in the Village and this will help me enjoy the area even more in the future.

The food and cultural history of the area came alive with our tour guide. She was bubbly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and the one element that pushed this tour into the enthusiastically recommended area. I have informed my out of town family and friends they will be taking this tour when they are back in town.

Tour was led by Bert, who had a great personality and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. We saw many places, tried lots of different foods that were specific to the neighborhod (love Joe's tomato pie), and had a great time overall. It was a really awesome way to spend 3 hours, even though it was sprinkling for the first 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

This is our 4th time on this tour, bringing out of state guests to learn about NY. We were pleased with the new additions and changes, as well as a return to O and Co, our favorite olive oil shop. And Murray's can't be beat for cheeses. Our family loved Greenwich Village and were impressed with their first NY trip and the quality of the tour. They can't wait to return and try another one.

The guide was friendly with good knowledge of locality imparted with a good dollop of humour. If you want to know the cost of living in Greenwich village then Karrie is the guide for you! Tasting started with a very good pizza slice followed by an olive oil tasting - the walk was liberally sprinkled with varied tastings, all of them good. (It helps if you have a sweet tooth!) We overran the 3 hours but it did not seem that long. We did not have much of an appetite for our evening meal because we sampled so much good food. Thoroughly recommended as an intro to a nice part of New York City.

My wife and I were on the Greenwich Village food tour with Kerry Ann as our guide. It was a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. We have been to NYC several times before, but this was the first time we decided to take a food tour. We read several positive reviews on Trip Advisor and thought it sounded like a unique tour. The tour stopped at several unique locations. The food samples included pizza, olive oil (which sounds strange, but was exceptional), cheese, cookies and several others. There were more than enough food samples to keep everyone full. For me, what set this tour apart was Kerry Ann also spoke about the architecture in Greenwich Village. Walking two blocks away from the busy intersection turns the city feel into a European village. Kerry Ann knows not only her food, but also her architecture. In summary, I would recommend this tour to anyone that hasn't experienced Greenwich Village before. It is such a cool area that you would never experience without having a tour guide. We only covered a few city blocks so walking for three hours was not a problem. There were several breaks over the time period. My wife and I enjoyed the tour so much we traveled back to Greenwich Village from Times Square so we could go to dinner at one of the restaurants we visited. I hope you enjoy the tour as much as my wife and I did.
