Sephra was fantastic, although I felt the tour and where we visited was interesting but not amazing. We only visited 5 or 6 places over 3 hours - it felt like we could have done a little bit more in the time available. |

Teenagers in NYC - shopping is a priority & sights will be seen. But this tour was absolutely the highlight of the trip for my teenaged sons & for me. Seffra, who led our tour, did an outstanding job of engaging entire group from the first greeting. Thanks to her enthusiastic insights, we enjoyed the West Village's curious history (from English settlers to Lady GaGa), amazing food tastings and vibrant evolving personality. I have recommended this tour to several friends already & plan to return myself for a grown up girls outing - with this tour & another on the "must do" list. And it's true - even the boys were stuffed by the time we finished out last cannoli.... |

We have been to NY many times, but have always done our own thing. I wanted to do a tour to give us some better insight, while still having fun. This tour was wonderful, you get tons of AWESOME food, lots of tid bit facts of the area and how it came about, and confidence to come back to the area on your own to enjoy it's uniqueness. We have already decided that our next trip we are going to come back and enjoy the restaurants there. Our guide Barri was wonderful! |

I thoroughly enjoyed this part of my trip to new york. You dont even have to be a foodie to enjoy it as the trip provides an insight into a different area of New York and gives you the opportunity also to learn about the culture, history and life of people living in New York. My favourite part of the trip was just watching how new yorkers relate to one another on the street, in the restaurants and in the shops. This is so different to anything else you might do in New York I recommend it as a 'must' to any international tourist! |

What a fantastic day! Our tour leader was Safra, who was bright, friendly and bubbly throughout the entire day even when it started snowing! She not only took us to several absolutely delicious places (including choc chip cookies to die for!) she also explained the history and culture of Greenwich village which was great for us tourists. This is one experience that we'll be recommending to our friends and will be doing again next time we visit New York! |

Cindy, our guide was superb. We were in a great mixed group of people from all over the US, some as close as New Jersey! we were the only international tourists, yet made very welcome. the tour itself was a fabulous insight into life in that part of the city and showed us a lot of great places to eat, most of which we would have simply walked past because they were too low key and we'd never have realised they were that good.
This is my 10th trip to New York and my husbands 6th and by the end we were cursing the fact that we hadn't done this on our first trip and promising each other that next time we would be staying in the Village and prebooking the restaurants on the list before we flew.
i would thoroughly recommend this to anyone. |

A friend recommended your tour. I was a little skeptical at first but once we met our tour guide and started I knew we were in for a treat. Kirt was our guide and he was fantastic! He had our names memorized within five minutes. He was very friendly, and informative. I loved the little extra facts that he know about the neighborhood. You could tell that the people in the stores really liked him and enjoyed having us come into their stores. We loved ALL the stores/resturants that we went to. It was a nice variety. Every food we tried was delicious!!! Later that night, we came back to Greenwich village and went to Cornelia's cafe. It was our best night out. The owner of the resturant was so kind to us and took extra care of us. I couldn't believe how fast the time went on the tour. I was so sad to see it end. When I come back to New York, I will definitely book another tour with you. It was fantastic!!!! |

The food was incredible, and the guide was even better. She was an "aspiring" Broadway actor with a bubbly personality and tons of enthusiasm. Moreover, she was a walking encyclopedia of NY information! The food selections were excellent. My only caution: Come Hungry! There was so much too eat that by the last two stops, my husband, 22-year old daughter and I were begging for No More Food! The value of the tour was definitely equal with the price. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend this tour when you are visiting NY (or even if you are a local, as is my daughter!) |

This was a really great tour, enjoyed by me, my wife, her parents and even our 16 month old daughter. Our tour guide (Bert) was funny, knowledgeable and very approachable. I was very surprised by how much food we got: easily enough to satisfy my lunch needs (my mother-in-law didn't have dinner!) It was a great way to visit the Village and I would strongly recommend this to anyone, local or international. |

Great introduction to the West Village neighborhood. Food tastings and local history as told by our guide, Heather, were excellent. The "tastings" were more than enuogh for lunch. Also enjoyed the "sit down" tasting as it was nice to get off of our feet for 20 minutes in the middle of the 3 hour tour. We walked to and from our hotel in Times Square to the tour...about 2.4 miles each way...and glad for it as we felt the excercise helped work of some of the calories! We left the city this morning to return to Boston but before leaving we drove back to the village...to buy some cookies and cookie mix from Milk and Cookies Bakery, some freshly made Rice Balls from Faicco's (the Pork store) and a whole pizza pie from Joe's. Needless to say, we had some of each during our 4 hour ride home. We will be back in NYC next summer and will definitely do another food tour! |
