Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

A great way to see and hear about Greenwich village, its history and culture along with fabulous food tastings too! Our guide Marie was knowledgeable and very friendly. Our tour was during the recordbreaking heatwave New York was experiencing and she did her utmost to ensure our comfort and enjoyment in such extremes of weather. Highly recommended - lots of foodie suggestions and venues to which we would like to return.

My Boyfriend and I enjoyed this tour so much! The food was wonderful and just enough to fill you up between stops. We learned alot about the buildings, culture and its all around history by our enthusiastic tour guide. We will be returning for future tours.

My friend and I wanted something to do in the city. Usually we see a Broadway play but we wanted to do something different this time. We found the food delicious and the information given interesting and helpful for future visits to the neighborhood. We are both planning on doing another tour another time.

This tour was great. It not only provided insight to several stores/restaurants that might have been overlooked, but provided delicious tastings, information about local restaurants and information about the history of Greenwich. Walking around the backstreets allowed me to see areas that I would have overlooked. A great way to get to know and enjoy Greenwich Village.

This tour was like having a friend who lived in the village show you the good places to eat and tell you some interesting facts about the history of the area. Our guide was delightful and our comfort on this hot summer day was always considered. She made sure we stopped in shaded areas, and opportunities for bathroom breaks were offered. I highly recommend this tour!

My son (college student) and I enjoyed a wonderful four days in NYC and this tour was a highlight. Greenwich village is such a beautiful and unique part of the city, the food of course was great, and our tour guide, Barri, was very fun, friendly and informative!

Our guide was very enthusiastic even though we had a very hot day. He got us into the air-conditioning as much as possible. I appreciated how considerate he was to the people living in the area. We couldn't believe how many things we got to sample. We were stuffed by the end of our tour. The time flew by. Would do it again!

A nice way to get acquainted with the area and sample quality foods. Our guide Bert was very friendly, entertaining and attentive to keeping us as comfortable as possible on a very warm, humid day. I would highly recommend the tour and will probably return to take another tour.
