Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Our guide Ed, was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the neighborhood, but also a very enthusiastic and interesting person as well! We ate our way around the West Village and by the end of the tour we were stuffed to the brim and smiling ear to ear. I highly recommend this your to anyone, local or tourist, as it is a great way to learn something about the neighborhood and nosh all day!

We had a wonderful tour guide and nice weather. Amy, our guide, has a very pleasant personality and she had a good base of knowledge about the Village, food, restaurants, shops, and history. We plan to come back and do the tour again with our children.

Our leader was brilliant, witty and fun! The food was glorious! What a great way to get to know the city in more depth than usually possible.

The tour, and it's tour guide (Micheal) was one of THE highlights our our NYC trip. Michael was perfect in his role of leader, teacher, & guide. He knew so much about everything! My companion had lived in the city for nine years and had frequented the village while living in the city, but even she was blown away by the information and good time we had on the tour. For dinner, we went back to Palma and soaked in the meal, enriched by the history and information Michael had passed on about the place and it's staff. We are still gushing about the time we had. Really enjoyed the food tour. Cindy was great with added history of the area. Would not recommend going during the holidays due to the crowds in the stores.

We were there at 11:30 on December 24 with our grown children. I don't recall our guide's name, but he had lived in the area forever and gave a great history talk without being boring. He really helped us understand the Greenwich Village area. The food tastings were fun and excellent, and we went back to several places later in the day. The O&Co. shop shipped our olive oil, etc. (received quickly and in perfect condition), and we bought things at a couple of other places as well. We will come back to these places (our kids live in Manhattan) and we will recommend your tour to anyone who will listen! Thanks for a great three hours!

Seemed a bit too long. The same itinery could be squeezed into a shorter timeframe.
