Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

Wanted to provide a fun, informative, different, interactivity for my friends and I to celebrate my birthday. It was all that and the food was great. Bert, our guide, was knowledgeable, infomrative and had a great sense of humor.

Marie was informative, had a great sense of humor and included all members of the group in her dialouge. She made all feel very welcomed.

My husband and I were visting New York and hadn't spent much time in the Greenwich Village area. The tour was very interesting and information but really just FUN! It was a good amount of walking and the food we sampled was delicous! We were so full from our tour we didn't eat dinner!

I visit New York City frequently, but was not too acquainted with Soho/Greenwich Village. This food tour was an excellent chance to be introduced to the area and to sample great food while doing so. Our guide, Bert, was knowledgeable, interesting and funny. He was conscientious for people with food allergies & with bathroom breaks! The food portions that we sampled were generous--and delicious. It was fulfilling on every level.

I THOUGHT THE TOUR TO BE A GREAT DAY. OUR TOUR GUIDE WAS ALOT OF FUN (BRET). THE TOUR WAS VERY INTERESTING, THE FOOD WAS GREAT, THERE WAS PLENTY TO EAT AND ALL IN ALL IT WAS A FUN DAY. A GREAT DAY TO LEARN ABOUT RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA, THEIR MENUS AND THE HISTORY OF THE AREA TOO. DO IT!!!

My husband and I took a trip to NY for our 10th anniversary, and having an aversion to "touristy" activities, we are generally hesitant to book these sort of group tours. Based upon all of the positive reviews, (and loving good food!) we decided to give the Greenwich Village Tour a try. We were not disappointed. Our guide's knowledge of the neighborhood establishments was excellent, and we particularly enjoyed how the tour was sprinkled throughout with interesting tidbits about the local architecture and history. We would not hesitate to try a tour of another neighborhood!

This was my second time on the Greenwich Village walking food/cultural tour. KerriAnn (sp??) was a great tour guide--really knowledgeable and kept us all intrigued. The tastings were excellent--loved the new stop at O and Co. The only food I wasn't terribly fond of was the deviled egg at the wine bar stop. Other than that it was a great time. I want to check out the other tours that are offered sometime soon...

My daughter gave myself, my sister, and other daughter tickets for Christmas present. We all went June 4th. Weather was great, guide was excellent. The whole trip was wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone. It was a great experience. We had seen a play at the Cherry Lane Theater last year and it was interesting to go back and learn about the area. Coming from Conn. we go into the city about 4 times a year. This activity was one of the best times we've had there.

this is a must... we had a wonderful, engaging time with a fantastic guide and a small group. The other groups we saw en route, from competitors, were so much bigger and not very happy looking. The stops we made and the food we ate en route were delicious...
