Cindy was our tour guide and she was awesome - very funny and full of info and facts. I would follow her anywhere in NYC and believe everything she tells me. Seriously, it was a great way to spend a day - good value for the $$ - <love love love the tour and so glad I went.. I would definitely do it again

Great way to entertain yourself for an afternoon in the Big Apple. Great samples of various types of food. Our guide Marie was a local and knew her way around. Lots of interesting information and at a great pace so as to see alot. Definately a filling afternoon of food and culture!

This was a great tour! The food samples were very good and we also learned a lot about the neighborhood. Marie was our tour guide and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. She was so friendly and informative! She was very patient in answering any questions that the group had. I would highly recommend the tour.

You will not go hungry and will make you want more

Charming stroll through the Village with some awesome tidbits of food... so many tidbits, in fact, you will be full for a while... so pace yourself so you do not miss a thing and can taste everything! This will make you want to go back a have full meals at each of the places visited... and will make you wish your stay in NY were longer so you can hit them all (or maybe even move to the area if your pockets can afford the cost of real estate!).

I have been to NYC many times as I tag along with my husband who often goes there on business. I happened to come across this food tour and thought I might as well try it as I absolutely love eating out in NYC. A little hesitant as I was going by myself but still wanted to see what it was all about. Initially I thought I would still be hungry after the tour and I planned my day accordingly, including where to eat afterwards. There was so much food on the tour that I was still stuffed by the time dinner rolled around. I though this tour was well worth every penny and I HIGHLY recommend it to all. I took the Greenwich tour and definitely appreciate the walking tour of the history as well as the fine dining establishments within the area. I now have a greater appreciation for the area and the history behind it. It was a great highlight of my trip to NYC and next time I visit I will go on another one of their tours. Loved it!!

Tour guide Marie not terribly knowledgeable

Marie knew a lot about the Village, but there were a couple of moments where I sensed that she was full of BS (celebrity addresses, moving plans, etc.). Also, she didn't know very much about the food we were sampling. She had memorized some things about each dish, but wasn't capable of discussing the food beyond what she had memorized. She was overly enthusiastic at points and very annoyingly patronized a young boy on our tour. His mother made it clear that he was a foodie, and she kept talking to him like he was a kid who didn't like fancy food. She didn't really know anything about the cheese we sampled, mispronounced the title of a Cuban dish, and didn't even discuss the cannolis we ate. She passed them out wordlessly.

I've been on food tours where the tour guide gives their usual tour and throws in a few snacks. Happily, this one was mostly about the food. And the food was good. I was surprised that we didn't get further afield but there's enough in those few blocks to keep you eating for a week.

A great way to start a holiday in New York. Not only helps to get your bearings, and feel for New York, but builds a good list of restaurants and food outlets you can come back to that are well rated. Well worth it!!
