The "Mayor of Greenwich Village" was great .. he knew had great stoies and secrets about the area that it was sad when the tour was over. The different foods were great too .. already planning to do it again with friends from out of town.

We learned a great deal about the area and sampled some great food. We went back that same night to one of the restaurants we visited. I highly recommend it.

I am always trying to find an unusual gift for my sister in law's birthday and this tour was suggested to me by a friend. We had the very best time. The selections of sites with the history was a great way to spend time in N.Y. Our tour guide Zoya was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Needless to say the tastings at all of the resturants were great! And you are absolutely correct in saying that there is no need for lunch after the tour! I am sure we will return for another tour---can't wait. Thanks so much for a very memorable day in N.Y.!! Sue Niesobecki

The tour was a little long but definitley worth our while! We ate some amazing food and got great ideas as where to book a great dinner reservation! (which we did and the food was amazing!!!) If you like food, good laughs, and a little exersice, this tour is for you! We took this tour on an extremely hot NYC day and our tour guide gave us bottles and water from the beginning and let us stop to buy more or go to the restrooms whenever anyone needed to! It was a great way to see the Village!

It was a nice combination of food and history of neighbourhood. Tasting was delicious and abundant. I don't think you can go for big dinner after that. Susan is very proffesional, friendly and made everybody comfortable. Can you do tasting tours like this in other parts of city? Thanks.

May daughter who is a New Yorker and myself from out of town found this to be a delightful tour. We especially enjoyed the combination of historic details about the Village along with the tastings in the various shops. It is a wonderful way to get a feel for the village and all that it has to offer

Our tour guide Kirt was informative and witty. He made it a fun three hours. We did visit some out of the way places that upon my return I will revisit again . I also saw some other spots that we did not visit but gave us the opportunity of knowing we would like to stop in next time for a meal.. The only different thing I would do next time is take the tour in the spring or fall when the weather is much cooler

Walk Through History With Wonderful Local Cuisine

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the Greenwich Walking Tour. Cindy, our guide, was funny, interesting and lived in the Village so she knew her information. She was so enthusiastic about her home and encouraged us to think about the Village next time we visited for hotels and eateries. My husband and I did the Circle Line Tour afterwards and came back to Chumley's for supper. What an exciting place to eat with all the history that it has been involved in. The only way to really know New York is to visit the neighborhoods. Doing it on your own is ok but you will not get the history. The price is very reasonable and you get to try several different cuisines thqt you may not have in your town or you have not tried. Coming from New Orleans where the food is excellent we were very pleased with the selection of foods we tried. We are so glad a friend of ours recommended this tour. Debbie and Jerry

This was the best walking tour I have taken so far! Our guide, Cindy, was so interesting and knowledgeable. The food tastings we had were delicious and provided a nice variety of samples. All of the shop owners we met were so friendly. I learned a lot about the architecture and the history of Greenwich Village. I highly recommend this tour; it exceeded my expectations.
