| Recommend this tour on your 1st day, gives great tips for places to visit and eat. Gives a guide to local geography and the history behind the area.
Our guide Cindy was great, high level of knowledge and very friendly. Again an excellent way to spend our first few hours in New York. |

| I planned an add-on day on a business conference to NYC and the Food Tour was the most anticipated event. I received the recommendation from a friend that had taken the tour previously and it definately lived up to the expectation. It was a great combination of food stops and cultural/historical facts about the area. The tour group as small enough to be manageable with a diverse group from around the US and Intl. The tour guide (Kurt) was enthusiastic, informative and best of all FUN! We ate at one of the restraunts on the tour that evening and had a fabulous dinner. My only regret is that we had the tour at the end of our trip as oppposed to the beginning as there were so many great places that we did not have time to re-visit. |

| My husband and I very much enjoy walking tours and this was one of the best. Our guide was very knowledgeable & personable. We've even recommended this tour to friends that live in the city! |

| ...it was a cold day (lower 30s) and after hour 2 of 3 hit we were ready call it a day. Also a challenge was (almost) every store we went to on this Saturday was crowded, and that got old after a little while.
On the positive side our guide was wonderful. Did a great job with explaining the history of a given building to describing a menu of a restaurant we would happen by. This also got us out of mid-town and into a different part of the city.
If you are trying to fill in a 4 hour hole in your schedule and have already seen the Statue of Liberty, then I would suggest considering this if: a) it were during the week, and b) you can withstand the elements. |

| We took the three-hour walking/tasting tour of Greenwich Village based on the suggestion of some friends in the large (200+) group of us from Dallas, rather unsure of what to expect. We were quite enthusiastically greeted by Mr. Curt Upton, who gave a very enjoyable tour. Curt was knowledgeable about the culture, history and customs of Greenwich Village as well as being very well informed about each food location that we visited. But beyond his script, Curt had worked at a restaurant in this area and had lived close by, so he knew many of the employees and locations on a more personal basis. Curt was friendly and was able to answer the many varied questions asked during the tour. He did a great job of keeping us on schedule and finished up right on time. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good food and the fascinating history of this beautiful part of Manhattan! |

| Just got back from NYC and I highly recommend the Greenwich VIllage tour! As my husband was in business meetings during the days of our stay, I took this tour alone and did not feel akward in the group. The tour guide Curt was fantastic. He really took command of the group and set a snappy pace throughout the neighborhood. There was a mix of tastings, history, and local color. SInce it lasts 3 hours and there is a good bit of walking and listening, it would be best for anyone over the age of 10. If you take this tour at the beginning of your stay in NYC, you can revisit the establishments later and explore the area. |
