Concept looked interesting on the web; Bert made it a memorable event. His knowledge and enthusiasm gave us an amazing experience. What a wonderful way to learn about Greenwich village and some of the amazing restaurants there. |

My husband and I try to do walking tours on our vacations, whether visiting US Cities or abroad. Loved all the tours.
Especially loved this one because it was very professional done. The tour guide Barry (please excuse if spelling is wrong) made the whole area come to life with all the history of the neighborhood and also the background of the business establishments that we visited and eat at. Not to mention the fact that all the food we tasted was extremely good. Loved the pizza, risotto, cheeses, olives oils, breads, desserts etc that we ate. So glad we scheduled this for our first day in NY. |

We had a great time on the Greenwich Village Food Tour. The Village has aged very well, upscale but not snooty! The foods we tasted were excellent, the guide was patient, spoke loud enough to be heard. We had a couple of extra food stops, nice additions. We had two favorite tastings-the pizza shop where they didn't use tomatoe sauce-just tomatos, and the olive oil store- their chocolate spread was divine. Also the rizotti and wine-yum yum. We give it a 10!!! |

Kurt was great but all the food tastings were made of cheese. The group thought this way too heavy. Pizza(it tasted like any other pizza!), macaroni and cheese, cheese/rice ball, various cheeses, cheese with rice and mushrooms, cheesecake for dessert! On the meat packing tour we had variety of foods which were lighter and we didn't walk away feeling bloated. I would not recommend this tour unless the food changed. |

This tour gave us the opportunity to see the village and places to eat that you might overlook without the tour.. Our guide was Kurt and he did a excellent job. He was very enthusiastic and the next day we ran into him and he remembered our names..We were pretty impressed.. There was definitely enough food to sample that no lunch was needed following the tour...Next visit we will definitely do another tour but will choose a different location so we can explore other area's in the city.. but will ask that Kurt be our guide... what a entertaining 3 hours.... |

We are so happy that we attended this Food and Cultural tour of Greenwich Village. We learnt about the history of the Village and tasted some great food. Our guide Sephora was entertaining and had a great sense of .humour. Because of her background as a baker she educated us as well. We met people on the tour who we will keep in contact with in the future. I would enthusiastically recommend this tour. |

Sefra was a wonderfully entertaining and interesting guide and did a fantastic job with the group of 16. I enjoyed the variety of stops, the food was delicious and the dialogue and crowd interaction made for an overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend this tour for an individual or a group. Fun time! |

I went with my husband on his business trip to NYC. Since he had to work all day, I decided to do the Food Tour of Greenwich Village as a way to entertain myself. The tour was great. We had a very fun group with people from around the world. Our tour guide Sephera (sp?) was awesome! She was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. We sampled lots of food and learned a lot about the area. Even though the tour is about 3 hours, it's not tons and tons of walking. Really had a fun time and would definitely recommend this tour to others. |
