Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

This was one of my favorite things I did during my visit to NYC. The tour guide was super knowledgable and the food stops were incredible. I highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to get the true feeling for Greenwich Village. It was outstanding and worth the money.

I thought our guide was very good and informative. The spots we stopped for sampling were very good. My only suggestion would be to have the desserts after the entrees.

Recommended for people who loves eating. The tour offers a variety of food to taste from pizza, kebab to canolli and they were all very good. The guide was very informative and provided us with some insights to the background of each food outlets and what is their must-have dish. On top of this, we walked around Greenwich village - a one of a kind area - very cosy. After the tour had ended, we actually went back to some shops and bought some food & pastry to take home. We will definitely try a different tour for our next visit to NY...

This has been my 5th time taking this exact tour and have taken different people on each occassion. I absolutely enjoy this tour and the guides are amazing. This time we had Marie and like all the others she was very informative about the neighborhood and very impressive with answers to every question anyone had for her. We've visited NYC many times, but this was our first walking food tour. Marie, our guide was prompt, efficient, friendly, and so informative. She seemed to enjoy her work and had many interesting tips to offer about the area. It was definitely both a food and cultural tour!! Although it was a rainy day, she managed to find intriguing places for us to duck into on occasions. Having the option of returning to some of the food sites and buying products at a discount was a nice bonus! We especially loved the olive oil company and the cheese shop. All the tastings were good, and we did not leave the tour hungry. Think we'd love to go back to the area for a longer stay....all because of this tour.

I highly recommend this tour! The tour guide was very informative, engaging and funny. The food is amazing. All around a great time.

Our guide was Marie.....she was super--very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food was incredible with portions and amounts so large that we were not hungry for most of the rest of the day. We all thought the money for the tour was such a good deal. And we loved hearing about the history and architecture of some of the buildings. My group loved the tour so much.

very happy with the tour guide and pace. Only disappointment was group was larger than advertised. the group was about 25 or so. Some appeared with out reservations-didn't that that was fair. The others has to take a chance on the weather and reserve in advance-don't think they should have been allowed to participate.

Good guide with lots of historical background on the west village area, strong food knowledge, pleasant personality and tremendous enthusiasm. Good pace to the tour, good food selections. Lots of fun.

Great food, great guide and great historical infos but it turned out to be 50% food oriented and 50% historical guided tour. Not that it was not interesting but it turned out to be not quite what was announced. In the whole 3 hour tour we have tasted 5 tiny samples of different products. Everything that we have tried was outstanding and I would have loved it to be much more extensive.
