| My brother described it as his favorite activity while he was here. He fell in love with the neighborhood, its history, and, of course, its food. As a local, I enjoyed becoming more familiar with a different area of the city. We were both so convinced by the tour that we returned to the Village the next day for an Italian dinner at Palma and a beer at Chumley's.
Note: Jennie was fabulous, informative, and fun. |

| Great way to experience and put in context the jewels that you might otherwise pass by on a NYC street. |

| My friend was visiting from Paris and really wanted to see "the Village." We loved this tour so much and she kept saying how brilliant this sort of tour would be in Paris too! I'm now signing up my whole family for a tour when they come to visit. Plus, we were stuffed at the end of it. 36 bucks is a steal. |

| It was wonderful. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the area as well as the restaurants, and the pace of the tour was relaxed. I would definitely recommend it. Oh yes, and the food was great too! |

| I thought this was an amazing tour, both from a culinary and historical perspective. Our guide was Cindy, and I highly recommend requesting her services, as she was very knowledgeable, charming, and funny. |

| I would highly recommend the tour - great food choices, interesting historical and architectural tidbits, entertaining guide (Cindy!) - and all for an extremely reasonable price. |

| The tour was excellent. It was a very hot day so starting with the bottle of water was appreciated. The walk was at a reasonable rate, the group was not too big (16), the food experiences were fabulous and beautifully varied. I think that Joe did make the best pizza I've ever tasted.
The history of much of the village was well described. I especially loved the tour of Chumley's, the old speakeasy. We did come back later that evening for supper at Pasta Pesca, one of the restaurants visited during the tour, and we were not disappointed. We felt that we could really count on the recommendations. The only suggestion I would make would be to build up the "culture" side of the tour- jazz clubs, comedy clubs, artists' shops...
We will definitely recommend this tour to others. In fact when we return with our husbands we will likely do it again.
