| It was a great "insider" perspective of what the West Village is about. The food was great! We felt like locals after the tour and definitely feel way more comfortable navigating the winding streets and knowing the less popular but extremely great "Sweet Spots".
The tour guide was incredible about the HISTORY of the buildings and the "gossip" of who lived where when...from John Steinbeck to the show 'FRIENDS' we felt like it was well worth the money!!

| I would definitely recommend the tour to tourists and natives alike. I wasn't familiar w/ G. Village history or restaurants, so this was interesting. (I would love a little bit more history - but as a former history major in college, perhaps I'm not your typical walking tour participant). It was also nice to find new shops for cheese, chocolate, etc. Some of the shops we visited rival (if not exceed) our slightly uptown shops - maybe we'll make the trek to the Village for future shopping excursions? All in all, 3 hours well spent. |

| A wonderful way to be introduced to Greenwich and welcomed to Manhattan. We came away feeling like a part of the community and confident about returning for dining, shopping, and the arts. Cindy treated us with great care and fine humor. |

| We had a great time! I thought it was a good mix of information and food. The guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining.Loved the neighborhood and was only sorry we had so little time to try out all the wonderful restaurents. Thanks again for all the time and effort put into your tours. |

| (1) the guide loved her role as host, and her enthusiasm for her neighborhood was infectious;
(2) "tasting on the fly" was a great way to sample new foods and restaurants; to have stopped, sat down, and lingered at any one place would have limited the overall experience;
(3) I felt like I got "extra value" with the architectural & historical insights provided by the guide/host; and
(4) I recommend it highly ! Back home in DC, as I have shared about my weekend with friends, all have been fascinated with the concept of the Food & Culture Tour ! |

| OUTSTANDING!! We had a great time, in spite of continual rain. It was even better than we expected. Our group leader was so knowledgeable and personable. We learned a lot about the area which we didn't know. The food tasting was fun and a nice variety.
We have already recommended it to others and will continue to do so. Thanks so much. |

| An excellent tour that was made even better by the knowledge of the tour guide Mike. His excellent, in-depth and personal local knowledge of the area, and the obvious respect given to him, not only by the owners of the shops and restaurants where we called, but by the locals of the area, gave validity to his delivery of his subject. This tour should not be altered in any way for to do so would spoil an already perfect product. The shops and restaurants that we visited were excellent giving a insight not only into the varied styles and variety of foods of New York, but also into the local history of the area. We shall certainly recommend it to all we know who visit New York and will most certainly book again on our next visit for a second helping. Please pass on our sincere thanks to Mike, long may he walk the streets of the village. We will always remember his tour as the opening up of a new part of New York to visit and enjoy on future visits. |

| The host was terrific! Entertaining as well as informative. The food was delicious! Truly representative of the multicultural influence of NYC. Fresh samples were carefully prepared by the best of the best in each food category. Also, invaluable was the handout with the written notes on each establishment so they can be enjoyed more fully later. I would highly recommend this tour to others. |

| I would highly recommend this tour for anyone. Even though it rained the entire time, I had a wonderful time and learned so much about the Village. The food we sampled was so wonderful we came back on our own to get more. |
