An entertaining, informative, fun and tasty three

| The Greenwich Village tour exceeded my expectations. I had been to the Village several times, years ago, but this tour gave me a new look at the charming neighbourhood. Our guide Curt was excellent. He was entertaining and he handled the group well. I only wish we hadn't waited until our last day in New York to do the tour because we would have liked to go back to some of the shops and restuarants. We'll definitely do one of the other tours- and maybe this one again too! |

| My husband and I really enjoyed the Greenwich Village tour. Our guide, Rebecca, shared a lot of interesting facts with us on the area and we really learned a lot and had a lot of fun. The tastings were very good and we really enjoyed all the stops. I would highly recommend the tour for anyone, regardless of age, etc. The restaurant recommendations were wonderful - we went back later that night for dinner at Palma's and it was excellent. |

| We went on both the Greenwich Village and the Chelsea Markets food tours a couple of days apart, and thoroughly enjoyed both. The guides were informed and entertaining, the food was just right, and the groups were friendly. The tours made a nice break from the usual round of tourist activities. A big bonus was the information on local restaurants -- we revisited two or three in the week after the tours. We would thoroughly recommend either of these tours to anyone with any interest in food! |

| We found all the information about the bulidings and history of the city really interesting. The food tastings were good too. Good idea to do this at the start of your trip so you can go back and eat at some of the restaurants. |

| 1. Tour guide Cindy was wonderful. In addition to her warm and funny style, you realized that she was a vital part of the neighborhood as people on the street acknowledged and greeted her.
2. The time flew by quickly. It really could have been longer.
3. I'm glad we didn't take take out to "shop" because it's a waste of our time and her expertise.
4. Group size of 16 made it personalized -- any bigger would be hard to manage and feel impersonal.
5. More tastes of more things -- even if a little bitty mouthful.

| We booked this tour on a whim and really enjoyed it. We liked all the cultural tidbits our tour guide related with enthusiasm. We were a little disappointed with the amount of food we got to taste. It was all delicious but we thought we would be trying more things than what we got. After the tour was over , we went hunting for a place to eat, which of course was one of the places we tried on the tour. We will definitely try the Chelsea Market tour next. |

| Enthusiastic, approachable and knowledgeable guide, tasty selection of goodies and useful information to take away all helped make this a thoroughly enjoyable experience - we headed back again next day and plan to stay locally next trip. |

| I enjoyed the review not only for the tasting and exploration of restaurants but for the history of the region. I found the host well informed, funny, observant( in watching out for us and making sure everyone kept together and had the opportunity of tasting) and did not take himself too seriously.
For suggestions on how to improve:
1) I found the last eating place at a Kebab outlet out of place with the rest of the tour.
2) Perhaps make it shorter to 2 hours.
3) Include a meal - which would raise the cost though
Overall I would recommend it to food lovers. |
