Original Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour

After reading other reviews, this tour was pretty much as I expected - lots of entertaining talk from our guide, Zephora (?), and lots of variety in foods and info. Never a dull moment! We laughed and listened and tasted and learned and walked - not as far as I thought we would, mostly in the same three blocks, but back and forth. The guide seemed to know everyone and be on great terms with them, which made it more fun for us, supposedly getting the inside track on things! Our favorite tastes were the olive oil shop, the mac and cheese and the cookie! Everything was delicious and getting to eat in the backyard garden was great too; also stopping for a longer time at the wine bar. There was almost too much food offered; several in our group were very full before the tour was over! I would recommend this (and probably others from the same company) to anyone. Thanks so much!

I shop at several of the stores on Bleecker Street and have seen the food tour so when we had guests from Phoenix we decided to try it with them. We all had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and fun. We learned a lot about the Village and our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. We will do it again with other guests and have recommended it to local friends when they have out of town guests visiting.

There was a good amount of food for the time period. All very good! I would maybe change the order of tasting, but that is my palate. The additional cheescake at the end was DELECIOUS!! Wanted a bigger piece. The guide was very enjoyable, which made our afternoon fun.

Wonderful experience with Barrie as our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided our group with lots of history. All the tastings on the tour were excellent; the warm chocolate chip cookie at Milk and Cookies was divine! Will definitely be back to try out the restaurants on the tour and on Cornelia Street. Our group had a great time. Thank you!

Very capable, friendly and interesting tour leader who made sure everyone was engaged. The tour was a lot of fun and we came away feeling that we know a little more about the history and dynamics of the Village. Highly recommended.

I have been to NYC 4 times and have done this tour each time. It is alot of fun and the food is GREAT! We come to NYC once a year and this will be on our itinerary every time. We really look forward to it and this area of Manhattan is really nice with alot of nice shops and quiet compared to Times Square. Can't wait til next year!

We were led round the tour with much enthusiasm and energy by Karl. It was great to get the history as well as the food stories and all in all it was thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.

I highly recommend this tour. It was very interesting, our tour guide, Marie was very knowledgeable and the food was great!

Most the food was great, restraunt recommendation was helpful . Risoto at lunch place was under cooked
