For a factual and food packed three hours try this

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Greenwich village's many wonderful food treasures. Many of the stops were off the beaten path. Our tour guide did a great job of giving historical background with food facts and kept the pace comfortable, but moving. We were very full when it was done - the portions at a couple of the stops were rather large - I recommend pacing yourselves and limiting some quantities to a half portion.

We enjoyed the three hours of food tasting and exploring the village. We were so excited to taste the foods of the area as well as discover new restaurants. I will definitely return to the West Village to explore some more. My entire group raved about this tour for days.

Saturday was my third food walking tour, the second for one of the group and first for two of us. Our guide made the tour interesting and fun. The foods we sampled were great choices. We even got to meet Joe (Joe's Pizza)! Looking forward to more food walking tours in the future.

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tour in Greenwich Village. The experience was educational and samples from the restaurants were delicious. Our tour guide Bert, was entertaining, thoughtful, and very enthusiastic. Thank you for providing a great way to see and taste one of the most well known areas of New York. I would do it again! Greenwich Village will be on my list to visit each time I return to New York--for sure.

The tour was well worth the money spent. We learned a lot about the mom and pop shops of Greenwich Village and felt very much like a local when the tour ended. I really enjoyed hearing some of the history of Greenwich as we toured the streets. Very Interesting. There is so much to see and do in NYC. With this being my third trip to the city, I wanted to dig a little deaper. Im so glad I did! The tour was great and the food sampling was terrific. I will definately do another tour when I visit next time. Im thinking SOHO!!

Not quite "Food Oriented" as stated
Fri, Apr 29, 11   12:00 PM pguerette Male 30-39 International Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Great food, great guide and great historical infos but it turned out to be 50% food oriented and 50% historical guided tour. Not that it was not interesting but it turned out to be not quite what was announced. In the whole 3 hour tour we have tasted 5 tiny samples of different products. Everything that we have tried was outstanding and I would have loved it to be much more extensive.
